This is lovely! Those look like little frog feet. They're adorable. I can never have too many picots. I will make several rows of different colors joined together at spines and nubbins, like on the thumbnail, for my placemat project for my sister-in-law. I'm going to make several placemats with the same yarn and palette (greys and navy) but vastly different patterns for each. She always thinks of the perfect gifts for Christmas and I've never known what to get her. Now that I crochet, I thought this might be a nice touch for her elegant home. Her table is black so it should look nice.
