I got 5 from venusaur raid last week, with lvl 2 steel raid power.
I kid you not, I had zero sandwich buffs, and I got one of each herba mystica except for the sweet one from a 6 star raid. 4 different ones in one raid, it was wild, I even got a screenshot for it

Just going to add something i learned a while back: even though mystical fire IS an egg move on gallade, you can give any pokemon an egg move by just finding a pokemon with the move and giving a mirror herb to the pokemon you want to teach the move to (gallade) and hopping in a picnic for a few seconds. You do have to have an empty move spot on the gallade for this to work, though. Just thought id mention this in case it helps anyone! :)
THIS HELPS IMMENSELY!! I do not have the bottlecaps and vitamins to train up ANOTHER Gallade! These RUclipsrs need to start specifying when their builds have egg moves BEFORE they get into the stats! I thought I was screwed for a second 😭

Would mention at the start that Mysical Fire is an egg move. Basically set everything else up for my Gallade only to find this out :/

@@JA-js8uk fun idea for folkes add focus energy and scope lense to iron hands. Crit ignores the defense boost.
It works okay, I managed to kill it 50% of the time, the other 50% of the time the timer ticks down to 60% and resets my buffs (I'm doing the same order as in the video), and once it removes the buffs I'd get hit by 2 attacks in a row to wipe me out. The times I was able to make it before the 60% marker was when some Hydro Pumps missed, not so much because of the damage but because that attack animation is so long that it eats the time marker, when this happened it mostly was Hydro Pumps just every turn hitting and never using Iron Defense.
Anything else that slows down the timer was also pretty detrimental, like Arbolivia Seed Sower added the time to get to the 60% marker as well. While it's easier than Venusaur, for me, it comes down to spamming the abilities as soon as you can, and hoping for things that just uses the timer for garbage. Gotta say that Tera Raids in general and the way the timer fucks me over on things I can't interact with is pretty frustrating.
I had trouble the first time I ran through this, like I wasn't killing it fast enough. Then I realized I had the wrong ability. Make sure you have sharpness. I haven't failed since I changed the ability.
I had the same problem. I found if he neutralizes my stats, then the priority is to get some Mystical Fires off to weaken him enough to not one shot me with his Rain-boosted Hydro Pump.
Just did my second run with this build, and it was fantastic. I appreciate every build you do, and so many of them helped me solo these 7 star tera raids, thank you for every break down, and can't wait until the next raid 😊. Also I got a bitter herb with the Blastoise raid this evening.
3 mystical fires + 3 swords dances + sacred swords until you win is the optimal strat
I must be super unlucky because it got a critical hit three times and I lost

I've been supporting online using a Mismagius with Mystical Fire, Sunny Day, Nasty Plot, and Fake Tears. Had some close calls but haven't failed with it yet.

Hi :) Personally I've enjoyed playing support with a Mew, max HP and Sp. Def. With Light screen 1st move, then Struggle bug or cheers until next reflect. Eerie Impulse once shield is down and fake tears to lower special defence - or sunny day if preferred.

Cleared the raid before the stat reset with Iron Hands, turn 1 Focus Energy, turn 2 belly drum, then just spam drain punch with metronome and tera after 3 punches. Don't know how reliable it is as I did get 2 crits and Blastoise lost a turn to para from Umbreon but it was a very fast raid and I already had the build so there was zero setup time. Just wanted to test if Iron Hands was viable and it is
I copied you and it worked! Fighting tera type. Was abt to die immediately but he missed a hydro. Abt to die again but got a crit on drain punch that brought me back. Got 2 or 3 crits total that really helped. Thx for this suggestion I really didn't wanna spend all night building another pokemon.

I just used my Raidboss Ironhands with a metronome and 252 in Atk. and the others in HP/Spec. def
Bellydrum turn 1 and after that spammed Drain Punch until stat reset (ofc. terastallize after 3 Punches)
After that > electro field and all out attack cheer and easy peasy
I hope Charizard has the Herba Mystica drops as well because I already caught it the first time around, why would I do the raid again if I can't catch it and it doesn't offer something new?

Turning my false swiper gallade into this set up was so easy and flew through this raid with ease!
I fixed my EVs to be the same as yours, but I only reached 211 Speed. My EVs are capped, though. I have the right nature added. All the other stats are exactly the same, too.
The Water/ fighting Urshifu can clear the raid comfortably as well

Can someone please tell me how many vitamins to give for the Special Defense and Speed? I never know how to give a specific amount of EVs to a Pokémon and it's pretty annoying when no one explains how
For those of you who don’t have the mystical fire egg move you can still crush this raid fairly easy without it just using a heal chant or getting lucky with a hydro pump miss

I used fire mask ogerpon with ivy cudgel, sunny day, swords dance, and synthesis. For me it was easier than any other blastoise counter.
I like to support with a slowking. (No need to Tera)

I used skeledirge to beat this raid similar to the empoleon raid.
Almost close to not making it but still managed to get the upper hand.
It’s a pretty good build, as long as you dont take any Sp. Def drops from Flash Cannon. I still like Vaporeon because even if RNG isn’t in your favor, you don’t have to worry about getting knocked out.
Here’s the Ho oh build I use (don’t knock it until you try it
Tera: fire
Held item: shell bell
Modest nature
Ability: pressure (not sure if it really matters)
Ev’s: 252 special attack /252 special defense / 6 speed
Moveset: calm mind/sunny day/weather ball
I soloed with Polywrath. It was not fast and strategy took some tweaks but I finally landed on:
Amnesia x1
Belly drum
Earthquake x3
Terastilize
Drain punch
When he negates stats:
Amnesia x2 and belly drum again
More drain punches
My lvl 100 skeledirge just tanks the hydro pumps until it sets up rain, but tera fire torch song just kinda clears it

Well the only problem is that it's all good until blastoise goes for shell smash

I finally beat it with a close call and I didn't get any herba mystica the first time. Wonderful
That was swift and brutal
With decent (human player) support, you can go straight away with 3x SD, team mate does a ATK cheer, and slice the Blastoise to the end.
I used a max hp and Atk gallade and i still succeeded i didnt have any speed Evs
Used calm mind instead and didn’t realise my gallade had a psychic Tera type but this still worked
Just a question, why not use 3 mystical fires first(lowers blastoise to -3 and fully charges terra orb) then 3 swords dance then tera boosted sacred swords
I imagine it is mostly to avoid losing your buffs before you can finish the raid. That one move might be the difference based on how soon after that third SS they lost their stat boosts. I haven't played with the build yet though, so maybe I am wrong.
This method works, I’ve done it multiple times. I just have a Max Atk/Hp build
I’ve found for raids (unless you’re one-shotting) it’s been much better to build your Tera Charge first before buffing or debuffing.
By then you can see if they’ll remove negative effects from themself or if they’ll remove your positive boosts.
So you don’t have to change the time anymore for the raids to reset ?
It’s a time thing. Tried multiple times doing the 3 mystical fires and ended up hitting that 60% mark which negates the stats every time. Stick with the script and this one is super consistent

Do I have to save before changing my time after completing the raid? This part confuses me
Hey Madara, sorry its not super clear. No need to save just hit your home menu when the games running then head to system settings > Settings > date and time then make sure your synchronise clock to the internet is set to off, then head into the date and time option and toggle through the options with A until you get to ok (dont change any of the dates of times), after this just hit your home menu and come back into the game and all the dens on the map should refresh.. Hope this helps

It's an egg move. Look up a guide on how to get egg moves, it's easy, only need a mirror herb 🌿

Yoooo @osirus so I think I found a glitch that could be very useful that I would love for you to make a video about it I think it could be a game changer I found it by accident but it basically gives you an unlimited time in a Terra raid I took a bunch of videos screen recordings of it on my switch .
Lol I accidentally put sp attack. I was moving too fast and thought I chose sp defense. So now I have max attack and high sp att and def gallade. But I still beat him again

Does the gallade have to have the sharpness ability
you’ll do 50% less damage but it’s probably still possible. if you have an ability capsule i’d just use that tho. it’s not a hidden ability so you don’t need to use an ability patch.
What if I don’t have mystical fire
I used Gallade for my battle with Blastoise & used Swords Dance 3 times & then Sacred Sword 3 times until I terastallize to the fighting type & kept using Sacred Sword all the way to the end! I fainted twice but managed to keep going until Blastoise was defeated! I used an Ultra Ball to catch it! I tell you right now Gallade was way better than Vaporeon!
I’ve beaten it with arceus and mewtwo. Mewtwo was ground type Tera died one time maybe better to make it fighting Tera
Sacred Sword, Swords Dance, Mystical Fire, also Light Screen/Calm Mind. Gallade needs max bulk (max HP/max special defense) to survive the hits Blastoise dishes out

I would focus use Mythical fire first to lower sp atk, don't want to risk it getting smack by hydro pump early. Three times, teralize then use sword dance three times and use Scared sword. Bring light screen just in case for Blastoise activate rain dance

Yeah this didn't work for me he didn't miss any hydro pump and he got a crit with one of them. On top of that he reset the stats before I could use the last sacred sword and finish it off
I hope Feraligatr and Meganium are after Charizard. Seems like the teras are mostly starters anyways.

Edit Update: I did it, lmao.
Gastrodon Tera Ground. Ablity Storm Drain. Earth Power, Mudslap, Amnesia, and Skitter Smack. Shell bell as Held item.
Use Amnesia once or twice. Can either mudslap 3 times for accuracy drop or skitter smack for SpAtk drop (probably the better option). Tera and just spam Earth Power.
Storm Drain is key. It's not as fast as this method and a crit COULD put you in a bad spot after it uses Shell Smash, but it's fun to take down the raid with a gastrodon
How do you get mystical fire
I use a mirror herb on a male Ralts with a female Gardevoir with Mystical Fire. Gardevoir can learn Mystical Fire via relearning.
The attacks are:
2x mystical fire
3x swords dance
1 sacred sword
1 all out cheer
Terastelise and sacred sword till knock out
That doesn't work consistently at all.

@@vidyafah1178 yes. 11 runs so far, 1 totally failed, 1 I was lucky at the end, Blastoise had bad rng after the reset and I managed. Although the other 9 went way better, more than half of it I got the reset. One proper hit from Blastoise and I'd be gone. So I feel it's been pure luck.
@@phoenixianbr I noticed Blastoise only ever resets your stats if you misclick at all. I've only had 2 games where I misclicked Swords Dance an extra turn and another I accidentally forgot to tera before my Sacred Sword. Both misclicks results in Blastoise being able to reset stats. So I guess there's absolutely no margin for error here. Other than that it's a really consistent build you just can't make any mistakes.
I move my switch's clock date up one day to reset the raid and I'm up to April 28th right now with no failed runs. Only ever having issues when I misclick and even then I've never failed.
I've done this 50+ times now, and I failed at least 5. 3 of them in a row. Two crits and you're done. And even without crits, consistent hydro pumps before tera screws everything as well. And there's nothing you can do in those cases. You'd better drop the ball and restart if any of those happen. Also, 60% is tight. Get distracted for a few seconds and the raid might take several extra minutes, or you might lose.
These are the little details nobody says.

Step 1: 3x Mystic Fire
Step 2: 3x Sword Dance
Step 3: 2x Sacred Sword
Step 4: 3-4x Mystic Fire
Step 5: 3x Sword Dance
Step 6: 2x Sacred Sword (Blastoise should be dead on the second attack)
You're not gonna die in this raid unless from 3 consecutive crits.
How can Aegislash be in the game for Sword Stance?
you don't really need the second set of buffs and attacks, Just 3 mystical fire, and then 3 swords dance, an attack cheer, and tera in any order. After that, you just spam sacred sword.

Metronome Flamethrower works well for this.
I use shell bell as held item. Then use 3 times Earth power. Sunny Day goes next. Terastalize. Then use Heat wave until Blastoise is no more. Just remind to use Sunny day again when Blastoise makes it rain!! That’s it!!!!

If I’m powering up the EV spread with vitamins, 26 protein for the attack stat but what would the spread be for speed and special defense?
You can also use 25x protein, and 2x muscle feather for the remaining 2. 19 zinc (you gain 10 per item) and 2 clever feathers, and 6x carbos + 4 swift feathers
I did this, got the same exact numbers but haven’t maxed out my EVs… do you know why?

Yess a build that dieees and messes up the online matches. You are lucky if they dont. Even just 2 vapes clear it before that stat change reset if others aren't dying

Why use shell bell over leftovers?
If you do enough damage, you can gain back your entire HP bar from the shell bell, it's like giga drain but worse... unless ur in a raid since the raid bosses have increased HP.
Hoopa Unbound with Calm Mind, Gravity and focus blast was pretty fun to use for me!
If you go eat the Pinap popsicle in Kitakami that helps with the raid power drops

For some reason this build gets KO’d for me from HydroPump and I can’t figure out why.
Hey Stacy there is a small chance of rng we figured out if the Blastoise uses flash cannon during the set up and gets a special defence drop(10% chance) this might explain what’s happening
This hopefully won’t happen to often due to the percentage but keep an eye on this during the raid
I probably won’t be using Gallade, but I’ll train one up anyway.
Not seen a single Gallade even do anything but cause the raid loss by dying consistently
How do you get Mystical Fire? Breeding?
Yh it's an egg move
Buy a Mirror Herb, put it on Gallade, start a picnic with Gallade and the pokemon that has Mystic Fire. Only Gallade and the other Poke (ride poke doesn't count so they can be in the picnic), end Picnic, boom, Gallade has Mystic Fire. It's how I put Belly Drum on Chesnaught for the Venusaur raid. Just make sure Gallade has the room for the move. So Forget one of the moves Gallade knows and make sure it only has 2 or 3 moves on it. Super easy. Quicker than breeding.
i think iron hand is faster. only need 25% of the time
How many vitamins for 192?
So, vitamins add 10 evs to a Pokémon until they reach 252. So from an untraded Pokémon, it would be 19 vitamins. Then 2 feathers to bring you up to 192.

If im not mistaken, vitamins give 10 points and feathers give 1 point
every vitamin gives 10EV points while every feather gives 1EV point, so if you’d like 64SPD you’d use 6 Carbos and 4 Swift Feathers
