I loved this series. I’m a bit sad it’s over. June and Aaron have a special way of describing food to their viewers. This channel is really something special🙌🏽
Happy New Year June and Aaron. I have been watching your old video's on Delish and of course this channel and if I knew you in real life I would have some advice you did not ask for. Start your own cooking channel and have Patreon. I swear I would be the first to give. You are so good at what you do and your personality speaks to so many people. I know you would be highly successful.
Happy new year June, Aaron and Freddie the trashpanda. Loved the LA series. Your channel here and budget eats got me through the holidays. If you ever get the travel bug the UK has some great food although Aaron may need to bring some sambal with him. On a side note thank you for just being you, it's not just food but normalising mental health and being a kickass human even when you are in pain. Take care of you all xxxx
Thank you so much for taking us along! I loved this series. I've been to LAX but just in transit and have never actually explored LA at all, and this felt like a travel adventure with friends. Your food descriptions are always so eloquent and even if most things look like blobs to me with my vision disability, the way you describe them brings back memories of colors and shapes I haven't been able to see in years. Thank you for the realness and the warmth and humor. 2021 has been pretty shit, here's wishing you and Aaron and the most adorable old man cat on RUclips a peaceful and contented 2022.
Thank you for sharing your trip to LA June and Aaron. It makes me miss living there and I especially miss the food. Happy New Year to you both. I hope this is a much better year for both of you
Love how excited you are to try the ‘California’ tomato at Gjusta. My dad used to always serve smoked oysters with fresh pineapple, it’s a surprisingly good combo. Sometime when you are in Southern California, you should consider a road trip to Los Alamos to eat at Bob’s Well Bread, Pico, Full of Life Flatbread and Bell’s.
Happy New Year!! 🎉🎊💝 And Freddie too!! 😂😺 June, you are the Queen of Cooking & this series in LA is fab! 👑❤ Here's hoping you 2 get a Netflix travel show this year. 🌟 With frequent cameos from Fred! (Actually, Fred should have his own series, he's got attitude & talent!)
I love the way you describe the flavor of food, you have inspired me to become a better cook, and not one to just follow recipes, but to a become student of flavors, and the science of foods (ie balance of acidity/ Sweet and spicy, savory etc). Oh and the way you whip up baked goods from crackers to cookies to beads is impressive. What is your culinary training by the way, what does it take to get to that level???? Thanks 🙏🏾
I didn't realize California was known for tomatoes. Been spoiled my whole life with them. We grow at least 6 kinds in our garden every year and I love to pick them and eat them like I would an apple. I keep a salt shaker on the patio table all summer to salt them.
On our last day in Rome I bought a chocolate croissant on the way to the airport. I figured I’d eat it on the plane but completely forgot about it. I ended up toasting it up for my first breakfast back in new york and thought WAY too much wondering if this is the farthest a chocolate croissant has ever traveled in history before being consumed. ….like…probably not…but in my head…it’s some…world food record. Please don’t tell me otherwise. 😣🤚

aaron and june should have their own show. Hoping 2022 will be amazing for both of you. ❤️
June and Aaron get down to every single grain and texture and flavor notes while their friends are like "yeah, it's food, it's good"
I’m so in love with this entire L.A. series. Sad it’s over :(

Watched a lot of Alton Brown in high school, worked in restaurants for 4.5 years, and faking it till I make it in food media.
@@thank9stars oh that makes a lot of sense, loved Alton Brown and his food science facts! You just paid more attention than I did I guess haha
Love your food vlogs June! Please do more in NYC with Aaron

Oysters are the labia of the sea - June Xie (This will forever be ingrained in my mind)
Happy New Year June! I’m so glad you liked the sapote ! I know what you mean about the bitter notes. I think it comes from the skin.
Happy New Year June!!!
