Wellen Park is in North Port. The land has belonged to the city of north port for 20 years. Realtors want you to pay the same price per square foot or more as you would pay in Venice for a similar offering. Most of the confusion is caused by the mailing address being Venice, FL. They are looking into changing the mailing address to Wellen Park or North Port to stop this.
