if Draymond didn’t know what he was doing and he wasn’t mentally there he shouldn’t be a leader because at the end of the day you tried to get some emotion out of a player and when that player gave you that emotion you then went home and had home emotions upset you and you brought those home emotions and mixed it with work emotions and sense the person that gave you embarrassing emotions had one up on you. You direct your emotions towards a player that didn’t even wanna show emotions. To be a leader you have to separate Home and work emotions. I agree with you Gil on that Draymond shouldn't be continually beaten up over this issue. He's paid his "penance" for this indiscretion, let's move forward
Draymond's been antagonizing Poole for a while now. Last year before the punch video was leaked there was another video that surfaced of Draymond in the middle of a game during time out very upset at Poole wanting to fight him telling him he was going to f him up. Steph, JTA and GPII were all trying to calm Draymond down.
I love hearing Gil talk. The JP - Dray beef storying telling is great 100%. Interesting to hear what actually happened. I believe this more than if it came out of Draymond's mouth.
They were going to pay Jordan Poole anyway. During Media Day last season, Bob Myers during a press conference said that they planned to meet with Poole about his contract when they came back from their pre season game in Japan. That is on RUclips! This was before the punch. The punch didn't play a part in him getting paid. Maybe how much, but not the fact that he got paid. You can watch that on RUclips for yourself. This is typical Draymond! Causing the team to lose a championship. Running away Kevin Durant and Jordan Poole. After the core leaves, they have no future and it's all Draymond's fault.
Yes of course Poole was going to get paid after averaging 20 ppg 65% TS in the playoffs. Draymond asked for an extension before the punch and didn't get it because Bob knew Poole and Wiggins took priority. The donkey has indeed ruined a potential dynasty twice now.
missed the whole story huh? he was trying to be himself while also being on edge (being depressed but showing a smile to everyone) so when jordan did what nobody did (push him) he reacted without thinking because his mind was so cloudy which is understandable NOT RIGHT but understandable. he should be forgiven
@@slimeytrizzevery single person has problem in their life that theyre going, youre just a pussy mentally using that an excuse for him being a coward and sucker punching his teammate. And he isn't really sorry because he try to justify his actions by commenting on the fact that there was no sound so there wasn't context to what happened and what was said . That's bs Gill take accountability and don't Make NO EXCUSES. The problem is no-one ever holds him accountable, GSW should have got rid of him to keep KD.
black men need to not move in emotion and ego. draymond was hurt from the truth the day before and then he had something happen in his personal life. wanted to prove hisself with a better performance in practice and got mad that poole wasn't impressed.
This was broken down perfectly Gil! You made me see things from different angles on everything you spoke about. But damn you need to let a man take a shit in peace bro 😂
He was in real time, alright! The kids were his cover-up story! He will never take responsibility and accontability for any wrong doing. He will always have an excuse for wrong doing or try to convince everyone to call good evil and evil good. This what most RUclips podcasters are about nowadays. They call evil good and good evil! Draymond's cronies don't require him to do it. Everyvtime he does something wrong they uphold it. If Klay had not been trying to be Enforcer #2 he would not have ever been the situation. He grabbed that young player's top as clear as day but the podcasters chose to ignore it! Gil, you are giving the right perspective on basketball but you have to maintain integrity and call a spade a spade. You can't compromise the truth! If you want to be successful you will have to stop all that cursing. It distracts from your message. Have some respect! Also, you can be very successful but you have to let some of your friends go. They can't go with you where you are going if you choose to go there! Your niche in podcasting is in not being wishy washy. Investigate and tell the truth! GSW can't beat the young Timberwolves and other upcoming young teams. They ain't got what these young players have! They can't force their old way onto these young players. They have a new way that works for them in playing basketball. Some of these young players like Mitchell of the Cavs are not scared of Draymond. Everybody was shocked to see him run over there to confront Draymond.even draymond was surprised! If the NBA doesn't get control of this nonsense quickly someone is really going to get hurt severely!
Jrue is gonna fit on the Celtics perfectly! He just takes Smarts place… guards the best player on the other team and you can plug him in anywhere on the offensive side

if Draymond didn’t know what he was doing and he wasn’t mentally there he shouldn’t be a leader because at the end of the day you tried to get some emotion out of a player and when that player gave you that emotion you then went home and had home emotions upset you and you brought those home emotions and mixed it with work emotions and sense the person that gave you embarrassing emotions had one up on you. You direct your emotions towards a player that didn’t even wanna show emotions. To be a leader you have to separate Home and work emotions. It’s OK to be aggressive in some instances, but a true leader can say” can I be excused from practice? I need time to gather my thoughts because a home emotion is really bothering me.” 26:22
Yeah! That was uncalled for Draymond got to be better. But your storytelling is A1 🤣💯👍🏼
Damn so Poole stood up for himself once & Dray duffed him that’s crazy. It’s cause Poole got real personal & he took it differently.
Basically Draymond was being a sucka lol
Did you watch the whole video or you stopped when you heard what you needed to hear like a little girl ? 😂
@@pumathegod2554My bad bro , I had to stop it because your mom told me to come lay some pipe.
Thanks for sharing. Crazy story! 😂
The guy with the wife story just wanted to beat the other guys ass. Even if the cocky guy woulda said “congrats I’m happy for you” and left it at that, the modest guy still woulda fought him.
That Shaq story got me looking at Shaq different. That was foul 🤦🏿♂️
he wasnt my teammte so fair game 😂😂😂😂
@@NochillGil0lmaaooo facts 🥷🏽💯
That's the one to finally do it? lol Shaq is a asshole bro, don't let that for the "cameras" crap fool you.
Then was mad at Kobe for diming him out lol🙄
So Draymond can dish it out but he can't take it
So wtf you didn’t watch the whole video ? You just watch the first 5 minutes or something I’m confused how your brain works ?
Exactly.
The thing is, I think we all knew why draymond punched him and they tried to make the narrative that Poole is full of himself, I’m not a pro but even I know draymond is ass and I’ll stand on that, the truth hurts especially fragile egos 😂
Draymond is ass is a pretty crazy take. You can hate the guy and everything he stands for… the warriors dynasty isn’t what we know it as today without Draymond.
@@jalen2024 you mean without mark Jackson right? Lmaoooooo, without him klay and Steph don’t get the green light, and kerr doesn’t want that job, without that front office they wouldn’t be where they were at, y’all make draymond into something he ain’t because he’s on a winning team, ANYONE can fill that roll, there’s guys in the league who does what he does, AND they can score the ball, it’ll create even more space for shooters. Stop it, the dudes ass, you can’t be that big and missing lay ups wide open, dudes only known for energy on the defensive end because he gets cooked as well 😂🤦🏽♂️
@@kingflores8915 you talking like Draymond not a HoF 😂 he is the heart of the Warriors Dynasty. High IQ player, good facilitator, and can guard multiple positions. At his best he was DPOY, at his worst he’s still integral to the Warriors, regardless of how much he benefits from the system. Fact of the matter is there’s a reason the Warriors chose him over Poole, there’s a reason they haven’t replaced him with ,as you put it, the plethora of players that can apparently do what he does for a fraction of the price, and the man has top 5 IQ in the league
@@jalen2024 he ain’t, is Robert horry a hof? Dudes a glorified role player. All that IQ and can’t figure out how to score the ball to help your team? What position can he really guard? Too slow for SF, and too small for PF and centers, dude takes advantage of easy match ups and y’all call him a defensive genius 😂 nigga fouls more than anything. Put it like this, if draymond got replaced, it would hurt his career 100x more than it’ll hurt the warriors. Also it was cheaper to keep dray over poole and Poole asked to be traded. Go dick ride that bum somewhere else.
I agree with you Gil on that Draymond shouldn't be continually beaten up over this issue.
He's paid his "penance" for this indiscretion, let's move forward
Dude. This story was more than I thought I wanted
Thanks for sharing.
Gil said not on my watch, IM SPILLING THE BEANS 😂😂 and I'm so glad he did
Gil go crazy with the content frfr no days off
Man knowing curry is always in “go mode” for 5v5 practice is crazy 😂🔥
Gil sounding like the player haters from chappelle show in that home video
Gil is Rick James 😂😂😂 just wish the Chappelle show was still around to really blow up these stories. 😂😂
Gil one thing thats a fact you carry your team. Man tell it like it is. Great job my brother.
Draymond always been a weirdo to me bro went to work and punched someone cause he got family issues like bro are 10 years old 😒
missed the whole story huh? he was trying to be himself while also being on edge (being depressed but showing a smile to everyone) so when jordan did what nobody did (push him) he reacted without thinking because his mind was so cloudy which is understandable NOT RIGHT but understandable. he should be forgiven
@@slimeytrizzevery single person has problem in their life that theyre going, youre just a pussy mentally using that an excuse for him being a coward and sucker punching his teammate. Poole is standing still, has his hands to the side, draymond literally walks up to him and gets chest to chest… poole had every right to punch dray there but instead he pushed him away… dray responded like a bitch and youre saying thats understandable? I guess a bitch would understand another one…
We don’t know what draymond has seen or went through his life for him to react like that. Not saying draymond get a passs for what he did.
@@slimeytrizz😂 if he knocked you out like that would you forgive him?
Sounds like your draymonds self defense attorney 😂
but he isn't accountable Gil we have seen this all before with the KD situation he is a reckless individual who doesn't know how to control his emotions.
Ayo no Bullshitt…you on an intro to an album would be ICONIC
Legendary Story teller, it’s like Gil was at the Practice or sum! Got the insider details down to the Teaaaa
Am I the only one that loves those digital movie posters in the background? I can't take my eyes off em!
“Backpack, Backpack” (Dora voice)
Kerr putting the battery in his back an letting the man get kod is nasty work lol
Draymond a whole BEEEIIIOOOTTCCCH!
This is sooo much better than the other podcast!
GREATEST STORY TELLER LOL
so if you see curry and ask him "what's the most expensive thing you carry when you travel?" he's gonna answer with "Draymond Green"
JP did the right thing. Get his bag & Get the fck up outta there. Can't nobody tell him how to react when they didn't get sucker punched.
So that is why draymond was iffy about his New deal and was exploring other options.
But where would he go to? I got a few theories
We need that practice video, would be epic right about now lol
black men need to not move in emotion and ego.
draymond was hurt from the truth the day before and then he had something happen in his personal life.
wanted to prove hisself with a better performance in practice and got mad that poole wasn't impressed.
When this nigga talking about the gun story & said “I don’t pass them Niggas the ball idgaf what they talking about” 🤣🤣🤣
This was broken down perfectly Gil! You made me see things from different angles on everything you spoke about. But damn you need to let a man take a shit in peace bro 😂
They victimized Jordan Poole then Leaked the footage. Following the next year trade him after he contributing to a Championship. 🤷🏾♂️✍️✍️✍️
Amen to everything you have said, previous posts as well, Dr@ymond KNEW exactly what he was gonna do that day, he is calculating
Gil is a gift to us 😂😂😂
Boy them locker room videos had me rolling 😂😂😂
If this is true fuck what DG was going through, he didn’t know what JP was going through when he was getting on his ass 🤷🏾♂️
Great story telling, but blaming it on being sad about his kids is wild. He thought he was gonna get kicked off the team - that's it.
Kicking facts on life and basketball. Great program.
Didn’t Steve Kerr get punched on by MJ? Pooles first mistake was taking advice from that muthaFer on player to player relations 🤣
But in this instance Poole is the better player. So it's even funnier.
Gil be killing it💯💯 keep up the content
I can listen to u story tell all day bro this shit is HILARIOUS 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jrue is gonna fit on the Celtics perfectly! He just takes Smarts place… guards the best player on the other team and you can plug him in anywhere on the offensive side
No chill Gil! I just subscribed 😭
Gil with the home movies 😂
It amazes me how much happens over women. Its mind boggling.
Lost alil respect for Dray. This whole year I thought it was the young fella getting too fly n poppin off at the mouth. Dray tried to bully em n got upset when he stood up for himself. Not the leader I thought Dray was
