Here’s last weeks video of what we did with our water heating system, although it’s not complete. We released the videos out of order and apologize.--> DIY Winter Greenhouse Heating Experiments - Thermal Mass & Heat Storage - Subscriber Ideas!

3:33 There is a rat or something in the back. Very sneaky. 🐀

When editing I saw it run in the back, there’s field mice that get big from the cornfield and the tractors were out that morning, we saw about a half dozen in the yard, the hawks are abundant at this time of year thankfully. I always set up my bucket traps for mice or rats every fall and it works pretty well compared to conventional traps. The bucket traps can catch multiple rodents at once, and are very easy to make.

could slim rocket mass heaters make sense? Love the content

Thank you! So I have been considering a small rocket thermal mass design ever since I acquired my old cast iron stove and hooked that up. I believe I could heat metal drums of water or sand masses. Great idea cause I’ve been considering doing just that

@@Earthdwellershomestead If a rocket mass heater was long and thin you could easily put water barrels on top of the length of it to retain heat over time, less fuel input and more heat dispersed over time. Cheers mate!
