I had to re-upload this video, because in the previous version the audio was in mono, by my stupid mistake, still learning DaVinci Resolve 🙃 Thank you for all the comments about the audio being mono! 🙏
I have to say, not only you're one of the producer with the most distinguishable sound in Techno, but the visual identy of your videos is also awesome!
Good thing you are only using factory sounds. I took hours and hours to load sounds onto this machine and made some projects using them etc. Woke up this morning to finish off an electro beat for YT video upload and I went to transfer files over with transfer app and it ended up corrupting the entire sample portion of the drive. I lost everything. Now I need to reformat the +drive etc. I had a back up of entire sample lib I put on there because I also put it on my MPC one and force. Hopefully when I load it all back my project might work. :( Be careful once you start putting files on there and back up your stuff often! Again sounds great!
Sorry to hear and thanks for the warning! When this happens to me, I try to recreate right away, while it's fresh in the memory and usually I end up with a much better track/idea :)
@@YanCook update*** I had it all backed up with the the file structure in tact(took it from my FORCE) . I reformatted the sample section of the +drive and put everything back on from the backup and all the projects are working. PHEW! Took me like 4-5 hours though!!!!! Hopefully that doesn't happen again. lol
@@YanCook What about when you have multiple machines running? How would you record a DFAM, Digitakt and a Novation Peak at the same time all on individual channels in Ableton?
This mini set is pure fire! Can you provide a bit of explanation for people like me who don't own a digitakt? Are you switching between patterns? Are there separate songs arranged in song mode? I'm curious to understand how to transition so smoothly between parts
Thanks! Sure, in the video I don't use song mode, just changing patterns, having 16 audio tracks allows me to just copy/paste a sound or two from the next pattern, and then I just filter in or fade in these sounds by hand.
I'm just changing patterns I've prepared, each track takes 2 patterns (AB, CD and so on), so pattern B has a sound or two from pattern C which I then fade in/filter in by hand. I hope this makes sense 🙃

Wow, thanks!
There is nobody like Yan cook on RUclips. Everything he does sounds amazing!
Easily the best live set I’ve ever seen on the digitakt.
Man thank you for sharing all your knowledge with everyone, such a blessing.

great beuatiful video!
Дуже круто!
I,am the space with this music 🎶 🎵 I like it very much! The different sounds make,s it perfect. That I want to listen more. 🎉
Such good techno, Yan. Can you make a video how you made the sounds on Digitakt?
Check my videos with DT1, the project file of these tracks is available on my Gumroad, + I'll be making more videos with DT2 of course :)
This is crazy! Is there any way you could do tutorial or something like that for visuals and graphic design you make and use in your videos?
Niiiiiice!
Nice short live
@YanCook What mixer or interface do you use to record?
I use Syntakt's and Digitakt's inputs + Overbrige, to me this is the best way to record and there is no latency issues.

Bit of noob but how are you making this seem like one long mix? Is this using song mode or just pattern mode?
Also very cool stuff!!
