As someone in Gen Z the language/voice is a little over the top to me as well, and I don't mind cursing either. It's not something that'll discourage me from getting the book though. I am interested in reading it!
I haven't read these but they are on my to be read list. One is "Empty Cauldrons - Navigating Depression Through Magic and Ritual" by Terence P. Ward. The other one is "The Burnout Antidote - A Spiritual Guide to Empowerment for Empaths, Over-givers and Highly Sensitive People" by Anne Bérubé. Like I said, I haven't read them yet, so I don't know if they are good but the titles seem to be in the same category as "Witchcraft Therapy".
Oh definitely going to check this out. The older I've gotten I've gotten better about working with the energy of depression. I do daily rituals that empower me and help me from falling into the darkness but still there are times when it's a sneaky asshole who tries to suffocate me. Like you said once you get in that place it feels like you'll never be able to find the way out again. You feel helpless and hopeless. I'd love a book that would show me the way out during those times.
Ooh so true ! “Catering to disfunction is fucking is up!” We are all responsible. Compassion with holding ourselves and others accountable for behavior. So necessary.
Love this book and I enjoyed my first box subscription so much that I'm now going to get the book subscription as well! Thank you for putting so much into what you do🖤💫🤍
Ha, I had the same feeling you got when you were reading the TOC. As a millenial I can honestly say "AF" and "💩" could've been used 1x each and the "I'm 2017 trendy!" point would've easily been gathered. Slang like that doesn't age well. I keep thinking about 90's "radical, tubular, far out" People will look at this book 10 years from now and not understand it, think it's outdated and not buy it b/c of that. I'm sure the content is ok though...
Thanks Elena, absolutely needed for so many people right now, I'm probably on that list, I'm going to be getting this and using it, because every little bit helps. 🤗
I tried to listen to the audiobook, for this one. I couldn’t get through it. Maybe there was some good, in there somewhere, but I just could not access it. The “style,” if this was just too much of a distraction and I was completely unable to get past the, “oh, for the love of all that is good and holy, THIS IS AWFUL!!!,” feeling. Sadly, it is now among the short list of my Audible returns. Perhaps I’m officially getting old.
Dear Elena, your intellectual insight is the saying of olde: “Mother Wit”! My gentle exploration of thoughts: Nurturing of Children whereas this “Table of Contents” - Would Not be Applicable in their Life’s Journey. Peace, Love, Health and Harmony, Jul’Mar

She must have liked these recs because we received the 'Empty Cauldron' this month in the book sub. Thanks for contributing!

I feel the same way. I'm not attracted too that personality type either, it's hard to read.
