I appreciate your efforts and knowledge on making everything from scratch, definitely much better. My family never used a besciamella sauce always used ricotta instead and more tomatoes in the bolognese. I guess it’s more of an Italian American style lasagna, but prefer the taste and texture over the other ingredients. I will definitely check out the rest of your videos 😊 Millie Grazie Marco!
Same here! My Italian grandfather taught me and never once used a bechamel. A mixture of ricotta and mozarella and definitely tomato sauce in the ragu. We still make it that way, except we use packaged lasagne sheets. Best lasagne ever... Thanks, Grandpa!
I love love LOVE your cooking and your explanations of what you are doing and why you are doing it. You are a wonderful Italian chef. Thank you so much for this video. I have been subscribed to your channel for a while and IALWAYS learn so much from you.
Thank you for the kind words and for being a subscriber for so long! 2025 I’m gonna put a lot more effort in RUclips. Expect at least a video a week :)
I'll be making this once you make that video on rolling the pasta out! It looks so good. And honestly, the filming in the kitchen was fine! It's way better than watching you freeze to death in front of us. New York is too cold to be cooking outside in the Winter!
What a beautiful lasagna! I can imagine the flavors are worth the time and effort it takes to make it, and you do an amazing job every time! (I follow you on Instagram, so I've seen many posts of yours) This comment might get me some hate, but do you ever pre-make the lasagna to the point of baking and then freeze it for later? I know many people who pre-make main dishes like this ahead of time for parties and finish them the day of. I wonder if it would work well for this?
I know that you worked with Matteo Lane - you need to teach his friend/enemy Nick Smith! You should do a reaction to his video on him making “Lasagna” - it was a hot mess!!!!
Ma che bello questo format di RUclips! (io vegetariana seguo a prescindere tutte le tue ricette perché è piacevole ascoltarti!) 🤍👏🏼
Grazie Annalisa ❤
Sei meraviglioso così come le tue ricette. ❤
