Those scary jobs, especially up high get me too! I'm a 72 year old widow on 100 acres. Solar only, water haul for 35 years. Built everything here including roads. Bravo to you! Sending love and light and positive vibes from Northern Arizona 😘
Lou and Emily, can I just say you two are by far my favourite RUclipsrs to watch. I love your work ethic, your banter with each other, the love you have for AJ and Summer and just turning your hand to any task. I love tuning in every Sunday to see what’s been happening and seeing the progress being made. Lou, your building skills are incredible. Thank you both for sharing your journey with us all ❤
Some people are so bloody rude who gives anyone the right to say negative things to others ugh and that bloke was a ignoramus and biaste at the least you always get one !! Ugh GGRRR FFS !! Why can't humans be like animals You can see horse cows and sheep all in one field there is never ever a problem but humans ugh !!
Your worth ethic, skills and determination would put many blokes to shame. Don't let anyone tell you you are not doing things as well as anyone else. Amazing skills, thanks for showing us your build journey.
Amazing skills come from an amazing brain. Regardless of anyone’s method, you have the ability to understand multiple methods and stand by the one you choose for reasons others may not know. If I were 30 years younger, I’d want to be like you. I am like you as much as arthritis in the fingers will allow. I miss the days when I could bounce from a ladder unto something flimsy and keep my balance and bearings. Enjoy every minute of your agile mind and mobility.
OMG...the two of you crack me up! Laughed so hard at the chipmunk bit! Sorry you've suffered more damage than we initially thought. Sucks...but know you'll weather whatever "storms" life sends your way. Stay safe...and keep your sunny sides up! Big 💋.
Lou, you are an amazing woman! as one of your many ‘RUclips Nan’s’ I’m so please your always thinking safety first’ sending you and Emily AJ and Summer happiness, health and above all ‘keep safe’
Fabulous. The end result of your decision to stay in the van is that you survived, pretty much unscathed, so your decision is fully exonerated. Love the gate result too. ❤
Louise, I was less than five minutes in to this vlog and my admiration for you is so strong. You are completely amazing, such a heard worker with such determination. I absolutely adore your content and I can’t wait to see what you both make of the cottage when it’s finished. You prove a woman doesn’t need a man to do anything, even gates 😊
If AJ had not changed your plans for the winter, I hate to think of what you would have come home to. Defend your homestead, still with smiles and laughter. You are both impressive
A very good point ! The barn roof might look bad, but it'd be secondary to what might happen if the damage to the snug/office wall plates & gables wasn't addressed swiftly; until things are stabilized there's a risk that the careful plans can go sideways. 😥 Better to enjoy some weekends away around Ireland with the Fluffs, & keep the project on track during the week. Give Fanny an airing at the weekends ! 😉😉😉
Lou and Em thank you for always remembering the delight of being together, working on your dreams, facing dangerous jobs with safety and laughing. The new merch is spot on, will be waiting for LOVE SHACK hats.
I bloody love you two 😂 I do feel you, all of you, the Irish homestead got a battering as your probably aware too. It’s better that all the weak points came down in the storm rather than when working on them. That new merch looks brilliant. Enjoy your trip to Dublin. Stay safe ladies.
Just for educational purposes, 3 bases in baseball, a home run brings you all the way around 😉. 1st base- kissing 2nd base- full-on snogging with wandering hands 3rd- everything short of all the way Home run- hours of fun and exploration 😂 Love the shirts! Thanks for all the fun!

You might feel you have to travel to keep your subscribers happy, but I think we all enjoy watching you working on the house so you don’t have to travel❤
Thank you both so much for sharing the video. That was definitely a sketchy job and could have been quite dangerous. You two even put a lot of work in to show how much you truly love your fur babies . I think the T-shirts were so cute. ❤
I love it when you speed Emily up and make her into the chipmunk. It looks so good in the video, Emily is a star. Can we get some teeshirt with Emily as a Chipmunk, please ?????

Thank you for posting another video. My heart was in my mouth watching you take down the barn roof. specially on an icy surface. Just ignore people that criticise what you do. I am just sad for you that the storm did so much damage. Take care

Brilliant idea to brace that barn roof end panel, Louise!! Brava! Have a good trip, and thanks for the wee sneak peek of the triangular wall demolition inside your stone cottage! Looking forward to seeing that video, and how you're going to address the stone wall that's spreading, so Best of Luck with that!

I love watching your work and skill, and like so many of your followers I feel like a proud mum watching your grit and determination. Keep on keeping on.
“Tin box” is a safe place to be if hit by power lines or even lightning. It’s the fact that electricity will take the least line of resistance to earth and even through the wheels to tyres to ground. Hey John, I’m trying to keep the panels whole so I’ll get my grinder out only when I have to. But I’m actually finding slow and steady the safest way so far 👍

Take care with them panels and being high up and it’s a shame your van friends weren’t in the area to help you get them down. Loving the t-shirts so will be buying them 😍 Take care both ❤❤

Lou, I was swearing up a storm w you. My anxiety was thru the roof for you. You never cease to amaze me w your skills. I can’t forget to admire Team Emily, either!
You are so brave Louise, I really felt your pain when in the beginning you were deciding what course of action to take, and then you had to deal with the icy roof. Very well done, I must remember to breathe when I am watching 💐☺️
I find it very rude of people (certainly this day and age) to think and comment that you can't do as good as a man. I for one think you are doing a great job ❤
Amazing job you two, love the T shirts. I must admit feeling very nervous for you Louise on that slippery roof and when you were near that large amount of rust roof hanging down. Such a lot of wisdom and know how Louise, you two are most definitely a good team.

Love the shirts too...
Lou, I was swearing up a storm w you. My anxiety was thru the roof for you. You never cease to amaze me w your skills. I can’t forget to admire Team Emily, either!
😀😀
Such great teamwork. Well done you two. Best time of the week whenever you post! :)
You are so brave Louise, I really felt your pain when in the beginning you were deciding what course of action to take, and then you had to deal with the icy roof. Very well done, I must remember to breathe when I am watching 💐☺️
Please breath 🤣😀
You two are a fresh of breath air, love watching your blogs. Keep safe and give AJ and summer a big hug from me xx🤗
I find it very rude of people (certainly this day and age) to think and comment that you can't do as good as a man. I for one think you are doing a great job ❤
Astonishing skills and a brilliant attitude.
Lou and and Emily so proud of you both glad the damage is repairable the corrugated iron roof is dangerous so safety first girls
Thank you
Loving the change of mics. That's a win. Keep up the hard work.
Get down and boogie boogie Em. In yer fancy shirt.
That's a lot of work Lou.
Aj's looking good.
Thought about a prosthetic for AJ?
Liked and dinged.
💃😀
Amazing job you two, love the T shirts. I must admit feeling very nervous for you Louise on that slippery roof and when you were near that large amount of rust roof hanging down. Such a lot of wisdom and know how Louise, you two are most definitely a good team.
I’m a girl, I fix everything in our house! My hubby is just the muscle and hands the tools to me❤😂 perfect team😊
You’re both an inspiration ignore the idiots you don’t need to explain yourself unless you are telling us how to do stuff .. love that 👍🏻
