That all looks like a well orchestrated scam to me. All the accounts recommending this guy, only this one "above" hit him up. The video you watched is 6y old, even if this backdoor was really open back then, Google have fixed it long time ago, with their monthly security update. Later Android phone models cannot be rooted with new ROM, even via USB debugging and Adb boot.

when you are on the email part hold the space botton. click set up keyboard options or something like that. then go back. hit the multitask botton . should all so show Google on the top of the opened Windows
