I grew up at 3526 Sandwich St and went to General Brock Public School. Later once on my own I lived on Peter St one block from the jail and King St three blocks from the jail. As a teen we use to go swimming in the slip in front of the Duff-Baby House.
I lived on Sandwich Street - near Mill Street - when I was attending the University of Windsor in the 1980s. It was a great area, with everything I needed within easy walking distance.
I went to the University of Windsor from 1996-2000 and would frequent the Canada Post store and the CIBC opposite the BIG PITA. Can't believe both are close! The Big Pita used to be 241 Pizza?
