I just bought this treadmill. One thing I absolutely hate is the lack of instructions for the programming modes. What they do have in the booklet is universal across all treadmills and only two of the six icons match up with what is in the manual. So here I am on youtube watching hours of reviews trying to find one person to go over the modes. But no. Not one person is doing that. Are you guys even using the treadmill or are you just reading the brochures to the camera?
When I ran on this treadmill I found it to be pretty user friendly and intuitive as far as programming goes. I can look at it more and maybe create a short video on how best to use the programming on this treadmill! - Linds
@@garagegymreviewseverything thanks. Yes, I'm afraid to even try anything other than P1 because I don't know exactly what the others do. I don't want the thing to surprise me and go from 4.0 to 7.5 and kill me.
I have tried to use the preset programs but they start out really slow after about 2 or 3 minutes I stopped what I’m going to do is turn it on and let it run while I’m doing something else and see what happens 😮 I bought it to use when the weather wasn’t favorable and it’s been working well for that.
@@garagegymreviewseverything That would be great if you could do that. I watched your (very good) review hoping to get some guidance about exactly how the pre-programmed modes work. Right now I'm only using P1. Re: the instability, I experience the same thing, but my T101 is set up in my basement in an older home, and I know the floor is not level, so that may have something to do with it. But ... if I increase the incline, even as little as 0.5, it becomes a lot more stable. I always run/walk with an incline of at least 1.0, so I'm not having any problems. But for whatever reason, it is a bit shaky at 0.0 incline. Bottom line, I'm really happy with this treadmill. I bought it to stay active during the winter, and it's been great for me (5'6" and 130lbs). I'll never get close to running at 10mph! I'm going to subscribe to your channel hoping to see a tutorial on the pre-programmed workouts when you get a chance. Thanks in advance!
How long is the entirely of the running platform? Online it says it's around 70 inches but when I take a ruler out, there's no way it's actually that long, right? That's like the length of a small car
imo, sunny models i've sen at same price a lot flimsier. this also doesn't have ifit guided motor control programs, which they list as a benefit, and i agree. if i'm spending 700 on a basic treadmill i probably dont want to spend 600 a year on ifit. love the blue dials great idea. "They take it back within 30 days" - uh, where i am, customer pays return shipping, i'm guessing in the 200-300$ range, so probably not worth mentioning, or do they have a flat rate return ship charge? Did you ever solve the feet shake issue?
Hard pass after seeing how much it shakes and moves from simply walking on it. I want stability over everything. Super grateful you provided this video so I could identify that early. Seems like anything else, "you get what you pay for". I will just be spending a little over the 1k mark for the quality.
I remember being stuck between this trendmill from Dicks at $699 or the XTerra TR6.4 from Walmart at $749. BOTH have a lifetime warranty on motor and frame, motor being most important, and both have similar speeds and incline. Having went with the XTerra, I'm more happy with that, especially since I use it for incline walking and it feels massive, and months later, my local Dick's Sporting Goods had this Horizon T101 on display and just stepping on it I immediately felt it much more cramped/smaller. For that $749 and under though, either one would still be good, just my vote goes to the XTerra.

How the heck do I use the program modes?

55
@@soneeeee4440 the whole platform is 55" or just the running/belt portion?
@@GetUnwoke visible belt you run on is 55, which is sweet spot for me, i wouldnt go less than 55
What do mean when you say long running? If I do 40 minutes around 6mph 4 times a week, is it fine?
Totally! I think this treadmill is great for that type of volume and speed! - Linds
Where can i find accurate dimensions?

🏅 Honorable Mention
if im 5.11 220lbs would this to be small for me?
I'm 6'2" 265 and it's perfect for me, although I mainly walk on it, I feel there's plenty of room

I just set mine up, mine is on carpet and it was very stable. I’m wondering if the floor setup in the video isn’t as level, or needs adjustment
I should add I’m mostly using mine for walking, light jogging.
The wobble I see is probably an uneven floor and the legs are for leveling.
"Great Amazon reviews, avg rating of 4 out of 5 stars".... meanwhile the video is showing 3.1 out of 5 and a bunch of bad reviews 😂

She talks to much need just instructions only
Then read a fucking manual and stop seeking REVIEW videos.
