It is good to hear Victoria Gold is working hard to contain any cyanide leakage. From their website the concentration of cyanide in the leaching water used is only .2% on average so very low. The water pumped to storm water ponds is processed in the water treatment plant separating gold and collecting the cyanide for reuse. The only water sample that returned slightly elevated was at the contained area onsite which is sent to the water treatment. Kudos to the workers onsite who took immediate action and risked their safety to mitigate this situation. I did not hear any of the parties giving them a shout out. They were either well trained or selfless. It is so easy to be critical. The community should acknowledge and be proud of their commitment.

very good statement. We all know that mining is a risky thing. All involved people, the regulators and the mine people did the best and continue to do.

@@ryanfriars545 Not great to hear that. From what I can see most startups have a lot of issues because of pressure to start making money. Due to labor shortages probably short on experienced workers as well. I did hear they had to raise salaries to try and reduce turnover. Many new mines competing for workers. of course covid sure did not help these guys and costs rose quickly. Thought they were finally figuring things out. Were things at least improving?

Reconciliation? We gone so WOKE, sad theses guys have to field theses silly questions. No one wants the environment affected no matter what your ethnicity is. As a tax payer let’s look at solutions to fix this. Victoria Gold plays a big part for GDP and employment.

The tone of talk is so not inspiring any real trust things will be taken care of any better than they've already been, unfortunately. Ft Belnap, Montana. The Landorf Zandusky Mining Company way back, unbelievable environmental destruction they dug a hole big enough to dump an entire city in and the heavy metals poisoned the tribe there to severe sickness and death, the machines granted in the typical BS lawsuit didn't work worth damn, it was ugly. This all for one long bed pickup truck worth of gold. Eco Genocide and we're all on the Rez now!!! This will be shadow banned by those that always do as their told, the corruption is complete.
