That first tool looks like the end of my loop turner. I just use a needle and a needle threader. Sink the needle up to the eye by the snag and then work the pulled thread/yarn through the eye of the needle with the help of the needle threader. And then just pull it to the wrong side of the garment.
Great tips! I'd like to see how to repair the elbows on a sweater with a patch. I love this one light colored sweater, but the elbows got thin and then just wore through. It's past reweaving with yarn, so I'd need to patch it, but I don't want to use leather patches because it's a thin sweater.
1:05 Neat, that one on the right is actually a hook from a knitting machine. I guess someone stuck a handle on it in the far distant path to repurpose it!
Hi Anastasia, thanks for this tutorial, those tools look very handy. With the first chunky knit, do you just leave the loose thread on the inside? Is there a way to tie them off?
Great tips & tools. Thanks Anastasia!!

@@daxxydog5777 I will add it to my list!
I have used felt to patch the elbows in my worn sweaters and cardigans. And you can embroider the felt!
@ That is brilliant! I didn’t want to do leather, and felt is cheap. I’m trying that next!
