Tf you mean, Lemar is injury prone how the heck is that simeone's fault, Felix played his best football under him but was derailed by injuries at times, burned bridges to go on and flop for chelsea and barca, Are you forgetting the likes of Falcao, Costa, Griezmann, Suarez, Morata (Who played his best football as a starter under simeone in late 2023) etc. They created numerous chances against espanyol, had an xG of 2.56 and couldn't finish them off, how is that his fault.

@@sunblanket2925 I was talking about Costa's first stint in 2014, Costa being finished infornt of goal and missing key chances is NOT simeone's fault when he came back, Joao in late 2020 and early 2021 is undoubtedly his best version in a more competitive setting, you can't blame Cholo for Joao being injured halfway though the season and running his momentum, that also goes back to the Costa point,, felix generated so many chances yet Costa and morata were wasting them in late 2019 also Joao was singlehandedly deciding games when Suarez was out with covid. And the same season Jackson martinez flopped Griezmann scored 32 goals under simeone and was a ballondor contender, meanwhile Jackson went to China and was never seen playing elite level football again. Not to mention the likes of carrasco and Correa flourished under simeone, there are more positives than negatives lmao, you dont have a point here
Alvarez is average. I realised this last season watching lots of City. He's decent but so below the rest of his teammates in terms of technique.
He'll never convince as a top striker for a top club.

He literally changed his style of football over the past 3 years and evolved unlike Mourinho, we are now more attack oriented than ever, and even scored 100+ last season for the second time ever even with that squad which wasn't equipped to play 50+ games a season. Just because we signed scraps over the past 2 seasons we couldn't compete with madrid or barca, this season simeone got most of the signings he wanted and now its time to wait and see what he does with them.
