Always slightly overlooked. This is quietly one of their best songs and a massive grower. The lyrics have meant more and more to me over the last 26 years and I never get tired of it. Such a space bass groove as well, the guitar sounds like a choir of stars.
I remember seeing Radiohead live when they were a headliner at Bonnaroo 2006. Had a head full of Golden Teachers and just as I hit my peak the opening bass notes of "Climbing Up The Walls" washed over the crowd, which was perfect as it was the song I had my fingers crossed for the entire set.
Thank you for sharing your personal interpretation of this song. Feeling different and being able to embrace it is rare and hard to do early in life, but I am glad some of us make it to that point as adults. We would do well to cultivate a world where the next generation can have an easier time discovering who they are, and feeling accepted, than we did.
This song, in my opinion, is a perfect example of why OK Computer must be listened to as a whole. It's the perfect bridge connecting Paranoid Android and Exit Music. As a stand-alone, it loses some of its impact. I feel the same way about Climbing Up The Walls. But I'll say this ... any Radiohead song is welcome at any time!

Mind blowing song. Name me another that sounds like it! If you never went to a Radiohead show, definitely try to swing it.
back in the 90s... Thom knew what was up.
Thom Yorke-- Legit the Sh!t. Radiohead in my top 5 favourite bands. 🤩🤘

This is so chilled. I like it! This could be on a soundtrack for Men and Black. Good choice! 👽👽
