yeah great idea but there is one massive issue with it....your light will be most likely facing up, and for sure it will not be facing down on the road. This is usable for making yourself more visible during the day, but for night ride, you need a gopro to Garmin adapter which will allow you to tilt your light down toward the road surface in front
Nice just did this for my Seca Comp and it is solidly attached. The light was rotating on the my mtb bar with their standard strap and they have many complaints about their GoPro adapter failing too. Now I just hope the Garmin interface can handle the light weight for mtb use.
I've used a rubber thing as a spacer above the front side of the light (between the light and the mount). This made the light facing slightly downwards.
Brilliant idea! Here I am looking up things to 3D print and have a ton of those Garmin attachments ready to roll! Thank you!
Eventhough this video is 5years ago.. still helpful what a bright idea 👍🏻👍🏻
Buying different mounts to fit a light and come to this video and I got to say, thanks very much you saved me money
What an idea 💡. Why did this not occur to me earlier. Thank you 🙏
what a smart idea I was about to buy the ut800 because I could not put the light, but this idea is super cool. thanks for sharing.
Amazing! Thanks for this, was about to buy a whole new light and mount
Most useful tip oin the internet. Have an old and trusted Sigma 300, just did this trick and it looks so useful! thank you!
Thank you! Been looking at all sorts of mounts for months.. Found some old bits in the garage and have done the exact same thing!

Smart idea. Saved my day.
you are a genius!!!
Trouble with this is you have to compromise the computer screen angle to the the light angle correct
