Wieder top.
Sehr erfreulicher Anblick. Danke für's Hochladen!
@@kevinsmallwood9866 DB retired them but a private company bought a few. I'm not sure how many (4-5 I suppose). Those few are not all active for sure ...
Evening buddy. Great seeing lots of freight trains running at the weekend in Germany 🇩🇪👍🏻 It’s the only way to move goods round safely and economically 😀 I spent many a good time watching trains I Europe back in the 80s when I was an exhibition driver and had loads of time off to watch the trains 😁
Thank you for the comment. This was something that caught us out the first time we ventured abroad. We assumed the traffic was similar to the UK. The freight scene at the weekend is quieter but some places still warrant a visit even on a Sunday
From WC USA, Great Video, I really like seeing these videos recorded in Regensburg, as I was stationed there from Feb. 1962 until July 1964! I was USAF stationed on the German Air Force radar station that was on the mountain on the north side of the city. In the city there were hundreds of German and U.S. Army troops, in their own bases of course! It is hard to believe that Germany has progressed from the steam trains that ran through there then to the diesel and Electric powered trains that run through there now!
Great video, very enjoyable! It is nice to see that there is at least one class 181 locomotive still around. It looks it is privately owned now. I lived in Frankfurt am Main from 1977 to 1989 and I spent many, many hours photographing from Denmark to Italy, France, Spain, Sweden and the UK. Unfortunately, almost all of my photos were lost in a flood many years ago.
@@kevinsmallwood9866 What surprised me was the station announcer around 7:30 saying "vitayu" and "budʹ laska' which are Ukrainian for welcome and please. Obviously put into place fairly quickly if this is from June 2022.
@@JamMan6string Regensburg had a reception area for Ukrainian refugees along with many major German railway stations. Announcements we made after the arrival of services from Czechia.

schön, dass dir das Video gefallen hat
Rare catch: 181 204
Only very few of them still active ...
Only example I've seen in recent years
