Wow! It's really amazing elevator! :D
You could also press the stop button during the ride to do the safety test. ;-)
wow that is cool and the really cool part is the entire elevator shaft can be moved since its on a big crane thing
Interesting 😮
I think you may need a special permission to ride that one, since it's located in the harbour area. But this is really cool!
He probably did ask for permission to ride the lift, or just got away with it, I was at a closed parking level where no one is supposed to be at, and I’m still here!
Would love to see the actual mechanical workings on a rack and pinion elevator machine system in a video.
Beno has a detailed look on these elevators.
@@AYEItzErik06 Thank you.

How does a Rack & Pinion drive elevator work?
You have a rack attached to a support column (Or pylon or _truss_ or whatever) or possibly bolted to one of the shaft walls if it's an enclosed elevator and on the car itself there is the motor (And brake) that drives the pinion gear.
Pretty simple, right ?
the elevator has a gear
@@evangelos.k What was I saying ?
@@psirvent8 about rack n pinion lift
@@evangelos.k The pinion is a gear in case you didn't know.
Why wouldn’t they operate the lift at high winds
Because the car would be ripped from the support truss maybe ?
do you get permission to film in these areas? Some people would think that you are loitering around areas for the sake of elevators. I don't want to be rude, but are you usually allowed to access those places?
Ράφι και πινιόν
That's not the top !
Yes, it is! 😮
