Hi, Connie! I've been making my own envelopes for years now, & I've never seen anything quite as ingenious as this! You come up with amazing ideas! I fold the sides in first & then bring up the bottom flap; that way, the point is never a problem. Hugs from Ireland!
Great idea for those who don't have an envelope punch board. I'd use a corner rounder for the flap, and glue the sides UNDER the front bottom section. TFS!
Great templet! I do have the envelope punch board to use too. I like mailing my cards in a C6 size envelope. It provides a little more room especially if the card has any dimensionals on it. Thanks, Connie!
REALLY SUPER COOL IDEA, Connie! I LOVE this way of using up DSP!! And who wouldn’t love getting mail like this??!!! PLUS the mail carriers get a “little treat”, too! We are ALWAYS looking for ways to put that DSP to work, clear out our stash (so we can purchase more! Haha!) and your TUESDAY TIP today is FANTASTIC for exactly making something “unique”! Can’t wait to create some of these myself w/matching cards! YAY! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Stay safe, sane n’ well, Connie! Sending SMILES from Madison,WI! :-))
Love this idea for making your own envelope. I do have the EPB, but sometimes I just want to really make it myself. When I first started to make cards, I made "all" my templates from cereal boxes & larger. I have many templates that are full size, but this one for the standard card is just perfect. Be safe & TYFS
Great tip, Connie! I wish I could have figured this out before I purchased my envelope punchboard, which I love and use. I used to set the A2 card into the middle of a 12 x 12 sheet and draw lines and cut and trim and waste paper. This is a great solution and can be easily modified for other sizes.
Wow! Unfortunately, I'm one of those persons who can't see things differently from what they are, so when you cut out the triangles, I was perplexed. When it came together, super COOL, Connie. Thank you.
Me too! I thought they would get glued on later. I once picked out patchwork printed corduroy and a pattern. My mom beautifully sewed the outfit which fit perfectly. But I felt like walking wallpaper! I couldn't see that coming.
Thank you, Connie. I watched this and got all excited about using up some paper for pretty envelopes then didn't hear that? I must of looked away! ha ha
What a great tutorial, especially for anyone without the SU envelope maker. I love your videos and your presentation, and I truly enjoyed the stamping event yesterday! It was money well spent. :-)
