I have see-thru templates in all the envelope sizes. That's what I use. 😊 super quick & easy.

Sherry, what kind of scoreboard/cutter do you have? My looks like your but it doesn’t have the long piece that you flip when you go from scoring to cutting.

So simple and effective. I make watercolor cards of encouragement to friends and family. I usually wrestle with a commercially designed Memory branded gadget. However my cards are unique and different sizes. Often too large for the gadget template. With your technique …problem solved . I will save this and use as a template. That was very helpful thankyou. I was channelling you today as I was making a tissue box. I kept asking myself "How would Sherry do this"? it didn't turn out perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it was a working tissue box made from chipboard and cute card stock, which, despite scoring it, cracked.I remember someone saying years ago to dampen the card and allow it to sit for a minute and then score it. I didn't do it though
I'm a bit confused.. but I think that's because of how my mind works. I hardly measure anything in all my crafting and sculpting.

I am just waiting for me to grasp all the concepts you use and duplicate one of your crafts and it look flawless. I am doing pretty good but not my type of good. This was a great video. I’ve been wanting to learn how to make some pretty envelopes and this helped a lot. I’m new to paper crafting. Do you have suggestions on what kind of paper to use and what to look for in buying? I often send cards or several postcards in an envelope and I want to make sure the paper is sturdy enough to go through the mail. Thank you.

I have an envelope maker tool but I have often wondered if there is an easy way to calculate / determine paper size and scoring points based on the card size but never took the time to figure it out. Here you provide that information. You're formula is simple and uncomplicated, and will be so easy to remember. I also like the style of envelope flap. Thank you, I appreciate you.
