Hello again. Wanted to let you know that I ordered the new S22I because of your great reviews (not just the S22I, but it’s competitors as well…) and in two days my bike showed up! I missed using your link, but I reached out to them and gave them my order number and your RUclips site. They said it was all taking care of! Thanks again, your reviews are the best. Btw, I use my Apple Watch ultra as a heart reset monitor, with no problems! I do like the way Peloton presents its data, but that’s an app adjustment that I could see changed in the future, if they (iFIT) feels it’s a better way to go). There’s nothing like having the resistance and the pitch of the bike (incline/decline) change automatically, based on what the trainer is doing. Thanks again!
You should be getting free bikes to review by now since you've done so many reviews! Always a good watch when you review these specially considering I'm in the market right now! Thanks for all you do!
The S22i rings all the right bells, the emphasis on outdoor riding, software seems to be great and a great "fit," and the adaptive rides seem to be a really nice feature, but issues and apparent lack of company action on problems and lack of follow throughs on issues makes me look for alternatives. I recognize that not S22i off the assembly line is going to be perfect, but I want a company that will stand behind its product. Any thoughts?
Thanks for the awesome video. I just bought one from Dick's on clearance but brand new in the box for $799. I had a great workout getting it upstairs by myself to start. I am looking forward to putting it together over the next day or two. Thanks for showing me all the features and the multiple ways to change resistance and incline. You did an excellent job on the video. Be well!
Hi. Thanks for the great review. Do you know if there is any difference between a s22i from 2022 and a new one. Trying to decide between buying used or nee. Thanks
Here is what everyone needs to know about Nordic Track. It was a great bike no doubt when we got it in 2020. However over time this bike has broken down on us several times. Most recently we have been waiting for over two months to get it fixed. Their customer service is the worst. Hold times of several hours and then no resolution. Finally paid $150 to have someone from Nordic Track to come out only to tell us he could not help us. Currently we have no solutions. Stay away from NordicTrack in general they sell you and walk away.
Ignored for 5 months, then had to just pay the service guys to fix mine. $1000 and it was under warranty. I'm sorry you're having the same problem as I am. I'm suing and also trying my hardest to tell my story everywhere online. Good luck
It’s actually much easier to build because the base is welded on, you don’t need to mess with the difficult bolts on the base like the old model. Should have included this, oops!
Hello. I really appreciate this channel and it’s helped me with so much on my journey to getting a bike. Right now I’m looking at either the Peloton Bike+ or the 22i. You did a good overview on both the metadata (sorting and filtering of workouts) plus the telemetry data with the Bike+, however I’d specifically like to know how that compares with iFit. I LOVE how Peloton presents data, both as you ride and as you search for workouts, but I also like how the s22i has resistance and incline controls “on bar”. I’m an Apple guy so I like the integration with the Bike+, but can I also do that same thing (use my watch as my ❤Monitor on the S22i? Thanks again, looking forward to your response!
i don't think the apple watch works with the nordictrack bikes, and I also think peloton has cut back on there apple watch integration since a couple years ago, you might want to research more on that. in general peloton does a better job with organizing and filtering for classes. ifit doesn't organize and allow you to search quiet as seamlessly as peloton. I have a brand new S27i vs peloton review/comparison coming out later this week, it won't touch on those topics, but the video focuses on the most important things you should really be looking at when buying nordictrack vs peloton
@@TailHappyTV Hey! One last thing: how are the Peloton auto-resistance adjustments during the outdoor rides? Have u done many of those and if a person prefers those would they be happy with were Peloton is now, or would you still lean towards the S22i for that?
If Nordic Track had a better sale and had installation, I would have gotten this instead of my Peloton bike. But the Peloton came with a bundle, the bike, shoes, 3lb weights, bike mat, and installation for $1,1145.00.
The reach feels shorter as the incline goes up because the handlebars come towards you as you maintain your body perpendicular to the ground. The Keiser has forward/backward adjustable handlebars, so ultimately more adjustable on the Keiser. Hope this helps
Forgot to ask how high the handle bars measure at the max height from the ground and do you and which bike allows for a more upright rather than stretched out seated position.Sorry.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced any stuttering issues with the videos? My internet speed is over 300mbps and still cannot figure out what the issue is
Amazon is selling the 2021 NTEX02121 for $899. The 2022 (NTEX02422) upgrade is nice; however, the drive train and most everything is the same except for the front facing speakers (which should have been the design anyway), maybe upgraded monitor (faster?), upgraded pedals, seat and that's about it. In sale for $1,899. Just not sure the 2022 is worth the extra grand, considering that the seat and pedals can be swapped out for a nominal price. What do you think. Are the 2022 upgrades worth the extra cash? 💸 💰 🤑
@@TailHappyTV I have the same issue. Should I cancel the order I have for the $899.00 NTEX02121 model? Is the 2022 model NTEX02422 worth the price difference to $1899.00? Any additional insight is appreciated.
You can still use the motor to invoice and decline and change the resistance and stuff, but the classes won’t work. Pretty much all you can do is get your metrics in a free ride session
Just to clarify, if at the end of my trial I don’t want to pay for ifit, the bike would still work and I could do a class say from you tube? What would your recommendation be for a bike that would work to spin following people on you tube or any other free source? Thanks so much!
Be very careful people, bought one of these 2020, started to get problems 2022, unusable 2023 , and still waiting for spare parts for repairs , IFIT cannot supply spare parts, I paid €2,700, in 2020, sitting in my home now unusable, I did love it , but it’s now a very expensive mistake
I can no longer recommend this product. I've owned it since 2020 and the main control board needed to be replaced in 2022. Here we are less than 2 years later in January 2024 and the main control board is bad again.
I purchased the 2022 model this week and it’s due to be delivered in a few days. I’m pretty anxious after reading a number of comments like these expressing their frustrations with Nordic’s lack of customer service. Really hoping I don’t encounter the same problems.

Just purchased this. Is speaker white noise normal? I hear buzzing though my speaker especially when above half way on volume
Are there any issues with the software on older models?
Thank you for the information. I just purchased one off your feedback.
I’ve heard a few people say about a frame rate issue when doing the outdoor rides etc. and is noticeable . Has this been an issue for you?
I want one are these blue tooth ?
Great review, was looking at getting the Peloton. However, I am going to check out everything on the NordiTrack S22i

I mean, $900 is a great deal 😆 hard to argue the value proposition compared the upgrade at 2x the price, but the new model is pretty sweet!

@Scott Walter in considering getting one. What's your story and what model year is yours?
Hi how limited are the features if you don’t subscribe to ifit. Would it’s still be possum to use the bike with an outside subscription. Thank you
