Attending a Sloppy Joes Live show has been added to my bucket list. Looking at flights from Chicago to Manchester now.
Ethan is one of those drivers who drives down the road blinding everyone. So annoying
Loved meeting you lads and was worth the trip over from Netherlands, see you at Easter again hopefully. Yes Ethan I'm having a stroopwaffel right now with my morning brew in Nijmegen, warmed on top of the lid of course 🤣
Loved the live show lads, Ethan getting from the studio to 53two after having a traffic collision, in around 3 minutes was real commitment
Me n my mates got a Megabus to London to see Dave Clarke. Ended up so minced, none of us got in. One of my mates actually bought a bottle of wine from a shop while we were standing in the queue. Got told he couldn't bring it in, so downed the entire thing in front of the bouncers, then smashed it on the floor like he was at a Greek wedding. Got told he still wasn't getting in, so started genuinely crying and saying he had a disease that made him look drunk, as if that would help his case. The group got separated and the rest of us left and stoated about London for a few hours, then tried again and got in but it was well late and Dave Clarke was finished. I took some weird experimental drug that made the floor turn into a psychedelic bouncy castle, spewed, gave a German couple my fags and keys, then left. I was there with a girl I'd been loosely seeing, who had to lead me about London at 7/8am by the hand. We had no idea where we were going, were walking for literal hours! I was completely useless cos I was trying to walk on a bouncy castle but she was being so sound about it all. The worst part was that it was remembrance day or some important celebration and the streets were full of armed police, ushering us away from areas near Parliament that we were blindly walking towards. Never felt fear like it. Eventually this poor girl managed to get us back to the bus station and back up to Glasgow in one piece.. Never saw the lassie again but it was some night.. That's the last time I went somewhere for 24 hours
The live show was great. Gutted I didn’t win the stroop waffles! I can’t wait for the next one.
Loved the love show and me and the Mrs will be there in Easter! Already excited!
On the live show did Jay fall off the wagon or was Joe McGrath just being really insensitive leaving a beer under his nose?
I’m so pissed i missed this because of work 😭😭😭😭
Was Ethan still dressed as a elf when they didn’t let him get in Moon under the water cos we googled after you mentioned it the other week and we’re planning to go when we go to Damien rice in march
Love too see Jay make an appearance at the live show!
Definitely. You can tell Motty and Joe get on really well both off and on camera. Love his little cameos on this podcast!
Joesus and his disciple friends.
What was after hash browns, I couldn’t hear because of the poor audio quality, great show though, absolutely love it
Punjabi samosas from a place in ancoats central. Didn’t get the name of themmyself mate
You'd be in my Spotify wrapped fellas. However I'm A straight Up RUclips listener. Straight outta the 0161.
Got a very similar driving test story to Ethan. Even tho I’m a Northern lad from Stockport (went to Woods Lane high school), I was living down south when I took my lessons when I was 17 (this is 2001). Had lessons with a great guy called Graham.
When it was the day of the test, he told me that all the testers were decent apart from 1 guy, and he hoped I didn’t get him. He went out the back, and came back out with a forlorn look on his boat-race. I’d been given: “the bad guy”.
Worst thing I could have heard, made me 50 times more nervous than I already was.
Got in the car, started drinking, and this ‘stern strict tester’ said: “do I detect a northern accent”. I said “yeah I’m from Greater Manchester” - HE WAS FROM BOLTON!!!
We spent the entire test talking about how great the north and northerners are, and how shit and unfriendly the south is!!!
It got to the point where he was talking that much, he forgot to tell me to take a turn, told me last second “shit turn here”, and I practically did a hand brake turn to the left, no indicator, and thought I’d failed. He just said “don’t worry, that’s on me, it didn’t happen”.
Passed me with no minors, even tho I made at least 6!!! Guy was a legend!
The worry that is coming from ethan passing knowing what I heard. 😱 I'm also a driving instructor 🤣
Absolutely belting live show can't wait till the next one me and my misses loved every second of it and that was her first time watching you
It was a great night
Great show lads really enjoyed it, brought my cousin who has never seen the pod before now he’s a fan
Cracking show lads, up the hash browns
Gutted I missed the live show but glad it went well 👍🏻
Ethan got lucky then, not supposed to get passed if you fail a show me tell me
Saw Doctors are amazing...
Thanks again for a great show guys! 👍
Love the pod chaps... Keep up the great work
Great show
Why the Frick would someone bring a kid to the show? Young to the point that they feel like they can't swear which was weird.
But really it was just annoying to hear the kid making noises
Where you in the crowd?? We played up to it for fun, it was ace
@@SloppyJoesPodcast I wasn't in the crowd sadly but the kid would have made me leave. As pitiful as that sounds it's true and possibly a deal breaker for anyone who wants to watch the recording before purchasing any future live show tickets. Advertise your next one as 18 plus. Harsh but neccessary.
Btw, love your content 😉👍
@@percy1629 I think you need more context. It was a relation to Joe and we loved him bring there. When you watch the full thing you will see he made most of the show
@@SloppyJoesPodcast Yeah the context definitely changes my perspective. It was for support, I understand. But I still wouldn't have been able to endure it personally, nor would I have expected it upon coming to your live show.
One of them things because I'm trying not to criticise the sentiment but my comment is based on the clip that you've shown us in this video....and the moment McGrath apologising for the language.
Btw, still love your content ❤️
Didnt bother me and i was on the front row right after the floor table's. It was a minute or so of crying and the baby was added to the show for the tasting . There was swearing throughout and the baby's tender ears were not harmed lol
I'm know an instructor and he's right the war on Ukraine has increased petrol prices alot therefore lessons have gotten more expensive
