Low point drains will freeze being exposed below the heated belly, the ice grows upward and cuts off the main pipe it attached to cutting off for past that point.
I added AC powered heat stripping to our waste lines and two pipes that run just above the uninsulated (but covered) underbelly to our kitchen. That has prevented all that from freezing.
@@luminousveiws Yeah, those are nice too. We have the Victron inverter/charger providing us with 120v power even when we're boondocking, which is awesome. We went on a five day stretch last fall without shore power, generator power, and minimal solar. It was close, but we squeezed all the power out of those Battle Born batteries!
Great videos and thanks for sharing your knowledge Todd. I have a question about solar, can you explain the difference between 12,24,48 volt systems and the benefits of each? I have a 2010 Airstream Classic and wondering about what type of system would benefit me better. Again, great job Todd.
Hey Todd and team, thanks for the great videos and information. Have a bit of an open ended question. I'm planning a large remodel of my travel trailer. I'm curious what changes or upgrades you would recommend to do during a remodel. I am full time living and do plan to continue to travel several times a year. FYI, I'm changing the rear bedroom/bunkhouse with half-bath to a large kitchen area and expanding the living area into the current small kitchen space.
See y'all next week!!

I found a 12V 'self regulating' one. We dry camp a lot!

I carry a spare WH plug, but only because it was a package of 2. I had to get new because the hex head stripped!
Good information

Put Teflon tape on the plastic plug and it won’t fail.
Todd has paint on his arms
So, Tony can make a paper airplane blindfolded. Can he also tie a cherry stem into a knot with his tongue?
😂😂
If the RV is made in last 4 years the quality is not good. Better to seal it up yourself.
