I have to say, though, that throughout Andrew Wommack’s books ‘You’ve Already Got It’ and ‘God Wants You Well’ one of the phrases that he uses repeatedly is "you need to . . ." - speak to, cast out, etc. He even says that God has done everything he can and now He’s waiting on you [to do something], as if it’s now all up to us. This stumbled me so much I threw the books away. If you’re having trouble believing, ask the Holy Spirit to help you. He will. He is gentle and gracious (full of grace) and is always ready to help.
Mike, this is one of the best series I've heard! You not only bring the Bible to life, but the heart of the Father as well. I'm 6 years into my journey but these messages have definitely giving me indignation over having to put up with this sickness any longer!

This is where I’m at… standing at the precipice of that big cliff waiting to jump into the abyss. I have been diving into the Word… healing scriptures now, but reading through the gospels. Like you, I have been hoping for healing from c word… 710 days today. And like you I have been performance minded, tackling it with God, He has certainly been with me, but because I have been trying heal myself (juicing, teas, supplements, saunas, etc), I realize I never let Him lead, although I know He has been in my passenger seat. Did you just give up all that you were doing physically, as well as mentally and spiritually? Or did those things not matter as much once the shift in mindset?
The important thing he did is he asked God for help, he asked him what to do. And then he received a revelation. You can not work for faith, you can only ask God to help you believe, because you tried bu couldn't

I've never heard your testimony to this length/detail before--Thank you! I love how you were trying to explain how you were processing "Big Mike" rising up inside of you. I can sort of relate to this when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and He wanted me to start praying in tongues. I was by myself in my house. I was listening to Kenneth Hagin Sr. on youtube, and I looked up the Holy Spirit baptism scripture(s), and simply said I agreed and requested the baptism. A little while after, my belly area felt REALLY FULL, and my first thought was trying to remember what food I recently ate, but I hadn't eaten anything. The fullness sort of went away, and then it came back again a little while later. I don't remember how many times this happened, but eventually that day I sort of opened my mouth and tried to make some sounds, and the release of trying to pray in tongues brought such nice relief to that belly fullness. I continued, and the rest is history they say. I will always remember the Holy Spriit becoming really BIG inside my spirit (belly area)...!
Amen Mike. This is a phenomenon in faith that is hard for teachers of healing to describe or help others achieve. I understand it and yet we don’t know how to get there. When the devil overplays his hand we get that “grit” , indignation and stand firm. Andrew Wommack describes it as indignation, Curry Blake calls it grit. you can be standing but when the devil comes along and tries to push you off balance that’s when we get angry in faith and finally get results. sometimes people call it an angry prayer to God. Sometimes people use their demanding faith in prayer And found out that they get results. People are confused as to how faith works on purpose. when the doctor tells you to give up and you’re not gonna make it that’s the point when you either choose to die or choose to live. So without the devil trying to talk us out of our faith we need to get this indignation. I had a similar situation with somebody telling me to just give up. His doubt made me angry. Especially trying to talk me out of believing 😡 I did feel my faith indignation rise up. I did get angry aand I did feel my faith get active. Settling in to passivity is the problem. Gotta get “stirred up!”
I really like the part where you talk about Big Mike. It brings to mind places in the bible where angels appear to men and tell them to stand up and not be afraid.
Hi Mike. I was diagnosed with ALS 21 years ago. Since then I have became almost totally paralyzed, have a feeding tube and on a ventilator. I know that I know that I know I'm healed. I listen to healing scriptures, preaching, teaching, testimonies, etc. I hear what you're saying and believe it because you have received the manifestation of your healing. Yet I lay here and something isn't clicking, I'm so frustrated! I'm unable to speak so I can't outwardly proclaim the word over my body. Thank God for technology. I'm able to operate my computer with eye movement or I wouldn't have any control over my life. Something in me has to change. I know God has already done his part. I'm not sure why I'm posting this because I know nobody can make it happen for me. Well have a great week. I'll continue waiting until something clicks in my stubborn mind.

I know it's easy to say you are healed, but that's the absolute truth and all we can do is to believe. You may want to check this Brother Tony Myers who was healed from ALS. Search him on RUclips, he has healing ministry. Bless you, be healed and be a blessing.
Have you ever listened to Norvel Hayes? I agree with him. We have the power, each one of us who know Him. If the ones of us who believe got in a room with you and DETERMINED IN OUR HEARTS TO GET YOU FREE, we could do it. The thing that Norvel and John G. Lake technicians did - they stayed until it was gone. Francis MacNutt also taught this. You stay until it’s done. A 3 ply cord is hard to be broken. Nothing is impossible with God. Listen to Norvel and see what I’m talking about. Perhaps your church has 2-3 believers who live where you live who could come and pray. Several days if that’s what it takes. I read the longest a John G. Lake technician stayed was 2 weeks. God bless you dear one. Don’t give up. John G. Lake Ministries has offered to go and pray for a friend of mine. Perhaps they would come. Praying that God will make the way of escape for you.

I don’t want …hope deferred makes the heart sick. I’ve been believing for almost 7 years. I see the performance driven…doing doing doing all I know to do. Knowing the word is true but looking at the symptoms! Why are the symptoms not improving but getting worse! I quit!🔥
Don't give up believing. Give up trying and give yourself to the Lord's care. He will do in you what you cannot. If you have believed in Christ as the sacrifice for your sins, you ARE saved. Reject the doubt and defy the enemy. "Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee."
Mike you forgot to say that you received a revelation that allowed you to understand truly what Jesus had done for you. You got that revelation when you gave up and asked God for help. That's what made the difference and that is what Jeremiah Klass also talks about. To be able to go from knowing to believing in the word of God, we need to ask him for help and he will give us all the revelations we need. By simply reading the scripture over and over and relying on our own strenght, we won't be able to do it. Faith is truly a gift, we just need to trust God and ask him for help while telling him we want to believe. That's what I did At minute 9:20, you aknowledge that you did not believe, so you asked God to help you believe. Then you got the revelation. This is a very important point to clarify
Just to clarify, are you saying unless we ask for help, God will not give us the faith and revelation we need to be healed? If that is true, that makes God a respecter of persons (which he is not); and would mean that if one does not get healed, they did not ask for help, or God chose not to give them faith for healing or God did not give them revelation of healing. (I don't think that is what you are meaning to say, but others reading your comment might think so.) All of that thinking is the sovereignty of God doctrine. Then, that would also have to apply to all that God has for us in Christ; God only gives faith and revelation to those He wants save, etc. God has dealt to every man the same capacity for faith, Romans 12:3. That faith is only released by the Word, Romans 10:17. I think that Mike has made it clear in so many of his teachings (that I have heard), He gave up on his wrong belief and our Father pointed him back to the Word which he chose to believe over the lie he was believing. In the light of those truths he saw that he was already healed and stopped working for it. He has a teaching on his website called Faith; Big and Small, you may want to listen to that.
