I went to a tint shop and asked them to tint all my windows at 20%. Little did I know, they took "all" quite literally, even tinting the windshield. At first, I didn't think it looked half bad. But a few days later, I had to do a quick nighttime drive around 9pm. Well, that turned out to be a bit of a disaster. I barely made it a few yards before I had to turn back. I was practically driving blind.
Yeah really..wish they hadn't stooped so low as to trying a "sexy/washed up female co-stars"..but in hindsight maybe it was exactly what they wanted...
@@chris90sk I don't think it's still in production, I'm referring to how these these 90's clips have Suzanne Sommers & whoever the black haired lady is as co-hosts.
I'd love my windows dark enough so people can't see inside, but so I could see outside just fine. Sadly it's illegal to have dark windows on most cars.
tint has become lighter in australia. i had a 1996 car with dark tint, and i was allowed to use it cause it was made before the later laws where tints had to be lighter.
I had dark tints on the side and at night I couldn't see out, had to roll the window down. On the front window this would be impossible to drive at night.
This is pretty similar to the typical tint people use in the Philippines for their car. Our windshield is tinted almost as dark and the side window is so dark, we often have to open it at night.
Tinted windows keep the sun \ heat down, and they look cool. They also keeps the cops from seeing you're not wearing your seatbelt. If you can't get your car inspected, because of dark tint. Pull the power window fuse with your windows down. They can't refuse to pass the inspection, because of mechanical issues. Or, you can find (just the glass) and stick it in your window slot, where they have to test the wind that will pass inspection.😎 Go to any salvage lot, then buy the window that fits your vehicle. Keep it for future inspections.
Anything that comes on a car from factory does have to be in good working order to pass inspection. No inspector is going to risk losing their license to inspect and their livelihood by passing a vehicle with inoperable windows or illegal tint.
Hubby bought a car. We got pulled over and in trouble because a cop said our tint was to dark. He pulled out a supposed machine that could read the tint. He asked if we're running drugs or alcohol and shined a flashlight in and through the back.... during daytime. The car was bought like that we explained. We were kids who had just been to fleamarkets and video game stores. He had a tea and I had a lemonade. Weren't even hoped up on caffeinated sodyy popsss. Illegal to over tint I learned. But for real every caf now looks as dark as his did.
It’s not a supposed machine, here in Ontario Canada it has become a mandatory part of a safety inspection process for cars after I think 2018. I bought one of these tint readers , it sits in the back of a drawer of my toolbox. Never seen the light of day or tested tint. Now that I’m retired that’s where it will stay.

*High school kid: “It’s not dark enough!”*
😂
it makes sense on highschool, they dont want to be seen inside the car lmao
I'm a window tinter in Atlanta, GA and it seems like everyone who calls me wants their front windshield tinted.
At least with the side windows they can be rolled down when it's dark outside so the driver can see.
Is it not illegal?
@@annonimiss6422 It's not legal
Imagine the tint at night!
That's when it will come in handy when bright headlights are shining in your eyes.
This skit has become reality, people tint their windshield now....
I miss the old candid camera show.

Jose was pretty good with a straight face, being all serious about it.
Many thanks to everyone including the people whose wonderful she of humor allowed them to be on this show!!!
The tint on my windows is so dark I sometimes have to roll down my windows at night to turn to make sure I don’t hit the curb.
There was a cop in town that was friends with my parents. He said the blacked out windows usually means 1 of 2 things.....contraband or women
Its like driving at night without head lights🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
All round black tints - A must have for that pimp / dealer look. No wonder the two younger guys loved it 😆
😂😂
That young guy seemed to have no clue what Candid Camera is 😂
Ever notice that some of these people don't even act like they know what candid camera is?
Your beautiful little strawberry blonde she had it just right this is nuts.
"roll the window down..."
G’day from Australia Peter, thanks for the laughs. You have given me a lot of delight with your show, much appreciated. 🌈🦘
We're all on candid camera all the time now.
Thanks for the laughs. I have ridden in heavily tinted window cars and it is very difficult to see out properly.
The guy with the shades😂

Good one guys
I'm a very honest, trustworthy person, but I don't want anyone to be able to identify me, when I'm out doing "stuff".
I love that woman 😅
He knew he could fix that car to be just what he wanted.
Hilarious! 😁🤣
Funny, but obviously such dark tinting isn't allowed.
i see it everywhere bruhhh
Wrong. They don’t enforce the law in SF Bay Area
Ambo tint on the windshield?? Just select A for Auto Drive and enjoy a few beers

You're stupid if you don't wear a seat belt!!!
How common is that now? And can't understand why legal.
Scary that not one person pointed out it's actually illegal to do that.
Because it's illegal, cars just don't come with such tint and it's not a requirement to know that for completing your licence test
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

China has such tainted windshield cars
Criminals love tinted (illegal) windows. Go figure.
