    You deserve more subscribers. I totally agree with what you said about why you use Google drawings. It's cross platform AND free.

    Thanks for a great video. I've been very frustrated teaching myself how to do these digital portraits. But now thanks to you I have a system to follow. I was mimicing real-life drawing techniques but learned through a lot of frustrated sessions that this won't work with digital art. Why this comes together so well is because you just build up all the shapes, along with the lighting. And then with a lot of patience it will look great. Awesome work!

    you r really an artist! it's just inspire me to do vector art again. Unfortunately, i don't have an equipment. i just learned by renting on computer shops. and doing this makes me happy. i think this is one of my passion. But it's not too late! I can have a job and save money to buy an equipment. 😊

    My math teacher Mr. Walach (awesome dude) used this tutorial for our class, gotta say, he was right in making us watch how insane google drawings is for some art. What's more, it's polyganal

    This is honestly super funny. I never thought I’d fine someone else that uses google drawings for art like this. Except I use the curve line. And take way tooo long😆
    I also use google drawings because I don’t have the money for the actual paint/drawing apps and they’re too complicated for me to use and I find google drawings much simpler to use.

    • @JoshuaPomeroy

      +Andrea Joice Google Drawings does create vector graphics. I would consider it a great vector program, but you don't have to download or install anything.

    How do you select all the polygonal shapes you've made without selecting the reference image as well?

    • @JoshuaPomeroy
      @JoshuaPomeroy  8 лет назад +2

      +87th Doctor I just select everything and then click on the reference image while holding SHIFT to exclude it from my selection.

    When you first put he teeth down that was so funny cause me and my friends do this thing where we dry our top teeth and put our lip up (it'll stuck to the teeth) then we put our jaw in and bite our bottom lip. I know thats irrelevant but why not

    What is the resolution of the final output? And can it be enhanced (size & dpi) with AI? Thanks!

    • @JoshuaPomeroy
      @JoshuaPomeroy  8 лет назад +1

      if you export/download as PDF or SVG, you can resize it to anything you want. I usually use CloudConvert for this right inside Drive. You can convert to a jpeg or png at a super high dpi at whatever size you like.

    Do you group and layer your drawings?

    • @JoshuaPomeroy

      Yes, absolutely. I rely heavily on grouping shapes into more manageable chunks and overlapping them on other groups of shapes.
