V - Conecta: 🤝 Bridging Communities for Collective Well-Being 🌍

In November 2023, V Social achieved a historic milestone by hosting our first-ever in-person gathering, bringing together the international Community Based Tourism organizations we support across Latin America. This event marked a crucial moment in our foundation's journey.
By facilitating this encounter, we established a powerful network of initiatives that approach tourism with a dual focus, prioritizing benefits for both the host community and the traveler. For this, V-Conecta created a space where communities could openly exchange their ideas and articulate their development needs.
The participants' enthusiasm allowed us to identify numerous synergies, fostering direct collaborations and mutual support. Exciting possibilities for exchange trips emerged, focusing on common themes such as indigenous communities and tourism, women in leadership, youth empowerment, peace, reconciliation through tourism, and conservation in tourism. 🌺👩‍🦱🌱
This collaborative effort was made possible with the valuable contribution of Travolution Colombia, bringing extensive knowledge and experience in Community Based Tourism. Together, we organized a workshop marathon, fostering knowledge exchange and co-creation among all attendees. 🤓💡
