You sound fantastic! The only problem I foresee is that you sound identicle, which isnt a good thing. They wont chose someone who sounds like a clone, regardless of how good you are. And yes, youre great!

Staying true to the nevermore tone and sound definitely implies similar style... It's weird singing these songs in a different way. I've always sang to these songs with WD's techniques, and it's just weird otherwise. Like the power metal vocals I've seen. They're good, just... awkward. I don't think I'll get it anyway though. I'm currently active duty military, don't have the long hair anymore, and have a mortgage and family that needs to be provided for so I'm just having fun. Who knows. I appreciate all you said 100% man.
@RedgehogSound So Jeff clarified last week that they do want someone who can do his vocal style and more, I wasn't trying to do his voice exactly buts it's extremely hard not to because it just doesn't sound right, like all of the power metal covers, it's just so weird. It's intentional since on the track itself they're turned down and almost old radio style in EQ
