I've never had a hole-in-one, but I did get a 'hole-in-two' double eagle on a Par 5 once that was pretty wild. It was a crazy long par 5 and on my 2nd shot around a dog-leg between two large oak trees and across a small pond, I decided to again, use my driver from the fareway and it followed the dogleg like it had a guardrail and then I lost it. The other three I was golfing with were all playing their shots up to and on the green and I was still hunting for my ball when one of the guys yelled to me, "What are you shooting?!" I hollared back, "Titleist 1." He yelled, "IT'S IN THE CUP!!!" I was floored, lol.
No, no there hasn't. Tiger is the only one to even come close to winning all majors in the same year for a grand slam. He won all four in a row but one of them was the next season so its Dubbed the Tiger Slam.
Seriously depleted fields in 1945 due to the war when Nelson won all those tournaments. That said, I doubt I'd have been able to pocket eleven in a row lol.
Look Snead and Hogan were around for a lot of it. He also averaged slightly over 68 for the entire year, and he was under 68 for the final rounds. It was the best year any golfer ever had, including Woods and Jones.
Yes, there has been, please get your facts right before you talk. If we talk about tournaments that are/were considered majors, then you forget Bobby Jones 1930.....
You heard it here, eldrick sycophants. The most coveted by professionals and the measure of the greatest = Number of majors. So shut up with all your statistics already.
Update: Jim Furyk broke the lowest round with a 58.
Just about to say that
WHERE IS TIGER BEING RANKED 658 WEEKS IN A ROW??????
He still held the title to all at the same time. Its pretty much the same thing and should be viewed as so.
Peyton Hillis is a beast! Great vid!

I know Sam Snead shot a 59, as did several others not mentioned in this video.
Are not WGC events part of the pgatour? Tiger winning 18 next player on the list 4 is pretty damn solid record
How about 9 straight birdies?

Tiger woods world number 1 record should have been on
there's been other golfers that have won 4 consecutive majors
what about Tiger Slam??
Jim Furyk shot 59 at the 2013 BMW Championship
check the date of the video
I know he was technically amateur, but still, Bobby Jones' 4 in a row is the only feat to be compared with Jack Nicklaus' 18 majors.
uve got a point
bobby won the us open the open the pga championship and the us amateur. the masters hadn't formed yet.
That is not true. Bobby Jones never won the PGA Championship as he was not allowed to compete being an amateur.
The British amateur was the 4th.
2 more Tiger!
well, he won them but not in the same season, bobby jones has the record for winning all four majors in the same calendar year
Yeah those four should have not been considered the majors as only amateurs could participate in two of those events.
Im from Greensboro
Die Hosen damals 😂👍
03:20 well that can't be said now...

Because the majors isn't exactly a PGA Tour event, if you know what I mean
then why is nicklaus' record of 18 majors no. 1?
😂der am Anfang
Might not be an official record. I wouldn't be surprised if the PGA has any officially delegated "majors"
probably because it's more of an achievement than a record.
why? Is it because he doesnt want to feel anything?

Where are the ladies at now who used to give out trophies and kisses?
