Wow this was the exact video I needed. I’m a 2.6 hog player just got back after a 2 year long break struggling to even touch the top 1000 anymore due to the new meta. Thanks Ian
Thanks for the tips! anyway, here is the recipie for brownies! - 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter - 2 cups granulated sugar - 4 large eggs - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1 cup all-purpose flour - 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/4 teaspoon baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon salt - 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. 2. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. 3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. 4. If desired, fold in the chopped nuts into the batter. 5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter). 7. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares. Enjoy your brownies!
Also another useful thing to do is to think why and how your attack/defense failed, and how the opponent would respond to your move. If you do this during the game you'll adapt to your enemy's deck quickly to the point you will win the game.
Pretty nice content. I wish I had this kind of video when I started playing the game. Idk if it's still working (cuz I tried it 4 years ago), but there's a legit way to keep track of your opponent's elixir. That is spectating your own match from another device, another account.
I also think its very important to see how much elixir they spend defending compared to how much you spent attacking, and vice versa, and remeber it like: "im up 2 from him defending my hog with minipekka log" or "i just spend like 7 elixer defending their hog, so im down 3". atleast thats how i do it in my head
The way I count elixir is by observing the interactions. If you win most interactions, your opponent is forced to spend more elixir and you can use that advantage in the next interaction
I like this type of content with the gameplay. Can you make us the tips for when to attack and defend, because i see top ladder match up full of timing when they should attack or defend. I hope you get my point
It feels so natural knowing how much elixir they have and knowing their cycle. I was actually surprised reading the comments to how many people found this video helpful. Maybe I need to touch more grass...
Thank you very much. Sometiimes i think "Oh, he played late the mini pekka so I can go for battle ram in opposite lane and they instantly play cannon or something to counter me. Now I can count thei elixir and play in a smart way 🙂👏
Awesome vid, but I think you missed a small point of "relative" elixir counting (gonna roll with that name, dk if its actually used). Thinking how ahead or behind you got after a play. For example: There's a sparky/gob giant from the opponent, there's a tesla/knight from me, that's a solid +5, he plays mini p +9, i go log fireball +3. Ik im up 3 by the end of the play, not really thinking about how much he has, but about the discrepancy.
Hey Ian I was just wondering how do you know If they spend 3 elixer how do you know when they are at 5? like how do you know how fast their elixer go up
And also if you know how much elixir your opponent has you can look at your elixir bar as an estimate to see when they gain more elixir so like if they let something go on their tower and decide to wait until a certain number to drop something opposite lane you don’t get caught lacking for example
Day 2 of asking Ian to play a deck with no win condition in ultimate champion. Keep up the good work man but now I need to work how to count in order to really count elixer. 😅
Did you know that evolved zap is a neutral trade against pump? Never use normal zap on a pump alone unless you were free to cycle anyways or to zap a swarm card But evolved zap is like using fireball or poison on it ngl
At 4:51 the chart i was talking about was actually on screen at 0:26

This is probably gonna be really useful in the future tysm

You should do more guides like this they’re pretty cool

I've been playing clash royale for a very long time and it's nice to see that I've been doing it the same way as a top ladder player. Feels nice.

respect to Ian for giving us daily uploads and strategic videos

probably depends on how much you’ve played. i feel like most ppl around 7500 trophies or in the champion area probably have a grasp on it.
@@lummy3180 yeah I've been playing since the game came out and like 8300 trophies
Im gonna fail to count elixir despite the GOAT making a guide
Ian, could you make a guide on how to make decks? That'd be so useful.
These were super useful Ian:) thank you
Really thanks bro, you helped so much

Goblin barrel and miner can too but they're not guaranteed if the opponent stops them
