Doc, yesterday just a he or so before watching this video, I heard a song about Randall knives! Never heard it before, don’t even know what channel of Sirius I was on, but there was a song called “Randall Knife” by Guy Clark. Pretty cool story that song. Keep up the strong work!
Awesome find with that display case ! I have one Randall with a cool story. It was gifted to me by one of my k9 deputies when I retired. He found it at a yard sale for $25.00. He had no idea what he had purchased but felt like it was a good deal. He brought it to me and asked me to identify it, knowing that I was into knives. When I told him what he had, he was surprised. Several months later when I announced my retirement, he brought the knife to me and gifted it to me. I cleaned it up and it is well preserved in my collection.
I'm so jealous of that display case. I'd of certainly made the drive from Pensacola to PC if I'd of known that was in there. Excellent find, happy for you! Also, hoping something great comes from your Randall lead. Awesome finds man.
Wow Doc! 😮 I’m happy for you buddy! That case is awesome! That’d be the only Randall knife piece I could afford 😂. God bless you Doc! Can’t wait to get back down your way!
If that Buck was near me I’d consider for the $50. Bucks Lifetime warranty does a blade replacement for $10. I’d email them first to make sure they stock the blade, but for $60 + shipping to Buck, and a few weeks wait, that would be a nice knife. I have two. As a Navy vet and a Buck guy they were a must have in my collection. Keep up the great videos Kevin!
@14:39 the collins legitimus no.37 was originally a machete that was originally between 18inches and 24inches long, someone turned into a fixed blade at their home. Sadly... would love to find one in good condition.
I thought I was the only one that ran down the the rabbit hole!!! Your really liking those Randall Knives, kinda pricy, but a VERY good investment!!! Thanks for Sharing this Doc!!! #barlowmadness
The fun is in the hunt and that Randall display was a trophy!!! Great antique stores you came across. Thanks for sharing. I got 1 Randall model 25 with stag, I traded a gun for it.
Actually that Milpar was used in Vietnam alongside the Camillus and Ontario jet pilot knives. They're pretty collectible but that one's pretty expensive without the sheath. Looks like that Collins was a machete that was turned into a knife.
I run into this exact issue where live. People think a knife is antique and therefore that makes it valuable. But they don’t realize that made lots of them and they aren’t as valuable as they think. Then when you try to tell them what it’s worth or make an offer they get insulted. Ok you can keep it then
I have that craftsman hatchet got it at a garage sale for 2 bucks you have to go back and get that little Leatherman those are worth so much right now they’re discontinued
Your killing me too lol, you better go back for them Rambo movie knives there is like three there in mint shape they are going for $200.00 plus now on eBay in the boxes there was three makers of the movie knives , Gill Hibben's, and the late Jimmy Lile. first ten knives made the cereal numbers on them are looked for you will double your money at the prices they have there but if the cereal numbers are in the teen's your looking at 7 thousand and up!!!

Good evening Doc
What a fun trip
Hey Doc, how come mr Kenny doesn’t come to the meet ups anymore ?
👍🏻👍🏻
Considering what they were. Prices on most of those knives were pretty high. The Display case was good find for a serious Randall collector
