- This is a different version of the song that was going to be on the CrazySexyCool album. This version was intended to be featured on the Bad Boy Movie Soundtrack but was later taken off the release, as you listen to this version you can tell the vibe they were headed on the album! This version of the song was found on a cassette on discogs which shows the unreleased version of the song!

Jon B who was featured on the track stated "Left Eye…I had that moment in the studio with her, and that’s what I’m so grateful for. The song was never released, it was a song called “If I Get Caught In Your World.” And it was really cool because I remember all of the other songs on their album were songs that T-Boz sang and Chilli sang, but Left Eye didn’t really get a chance to really do her thing a lot. So this was a solo song of Left Eye. Actually oddly enough I sang on the backgrounds with TLC. If we could find that record and put it out. It’s probably with LaFace somewhere, in their files man ya know. Just to have that moment. I had it on cassette, and the cassette got lost or whatever, ya know. Just to have those burned into my mind now that she’s no longer here in the physical….definitely it’s an honor to have those experiences."
This gives me oooooohhh on the tlc tip vibes not crazy sexy cool left eye flow wasn't anything like this on the second album but I enjoyed hearing something unreleased
Matt Ro, the reason why you get "Ooooooohhh on the TLC tip" feels. Is because this song was an early "CrazySexyCool" recording. This song was done while they were still trying to figure out the sound. Then once they figured it out, this song didn't fit the concept.

@@DaInfamousRo Not to mention, Chilli's vocals are more seasoned here. During the first album, her vocals were a bit unpolished. Also, Jon B didn't meet Babeface until summer of 1992.

I wish TLC did more songs for soundtracks and features with other artists of the time. Just a fans wish. They should have kept this for the Bad Boy Soundtrack.
This song sounds like a fuse of CrazySexyCool and Ooooh on the TLC Tip. The harmonies and message are reminiscent of CSC, but the beat, Left-Eye’s prominence are reminiscent of the debut. This could’ve been put on an EP with Get It Up and a few other songs.

I absolutely love left eyes high pitch voice❤️ wish she did more songs with that voice
I on the other hand loved her more poetic flow that she introduced on Fanmail it fit where she was at that point in her life
This isn't a bad song but i'm glad that it wasn't featured on either album. It just didn't fit. This is definitely a song meant for a soundtrack.
Its a shame Lisa wasnt featured more...they would have been even more successful.....

She was featured throughout the first album and TLC was the best selling girl group of all time and still is. How much more successful can you ask for!!!
@@len1975 How many songs did TLC release where Lisa rapped the majority of the song and Chilli and TBoz sang background that were not remixes? How many can you name? I can name 2, "Something You Wanna Know", and "My Secret Enemy". Thats the point I am trying to make when I say she could've been featured more....featured more as the lead than just a snippet of a rap here and there....now do you get it?

MSE is the only lead track I know of from CSC... this was for a soundtrack. She wasn’t able t record a lot during the album by the time they actually found a sound and everything for the album. She recorded early songs for the album but much like this doesn’t fit CSC those early ones more than likely didn’t fit either so for good reason they was probably cut. This song is good but would be a terrible fit on the album as well as MSE honestly and that’s one of my favorites.
@@marcelt1726my secret enemy woulda fit with crazysexycool the same way something wicked this way comes did in my opinion. Aside from that Laface and Arista really dropped the ball on releasing a Left Eye solo album in the 90s.

Really unfortunate that Ooooooohhh on the TLC Tip is the only true TLC album. CrazySexyCool onward is basically T-Boz & Chilli ft. Left Eye. She deserved better.
Well it's because Lefteye was dealing with a lot of court stuff with the Andre thing, and it was hard for Tboz and chilli to go around her schedule. I'm pretty sure if the burning didn't happen, she would have been more on the album.
@@hello-ei8cb lies...lefteye was recording lots of stuff that they didn't use...so she decided it was time for her to do her own album
@@DaInfamousRo Not everything that she recorded was going to be used on the album. Some songs that had her rap were probably taken off, or unreleased. And not because she was on it lol. Most likely because they didn't make the cut, or to make the album shorter, knowing that they had 16 songs already.
@@hello-ei8cb the point is whether they used them or not her presence on crazysexycool and fanmail was very minimal and they could've always made sure she had a solo song like t-boz and chilli
@@DaInfamousRo All I was saying was that you can't expect EVERY rap lefteye recorded to be on the album. In my opinion, I think she had a fair amount of raps on the album like waterfalls,switch,kick your game, the creep remix, and this is how it works from Waiting To Exhale. It's just my opinion.

correct this was before they figured the full theme of CSC, but then they offered it to Bad Boys soundtrack and were to rerecord it. but only left eye rerecorded her lines this is the OG cut without lefteyes new verses

@@DaInfamousRosomeone has done it the album is called TLC 20:Unreleased which has unreleased TLC songs & there unreleased solo music but it’s only on tidal & RUclips
