    Great info! The only thing that I can tell you is. From my experience, my fatigue is from the medication not because I’m not eating enough. It definitely does do something to my system. I’ve been on it for five weeks and have lost 2 pounds a week. I definitely don’t feel that great, but it’s worth it to get this weight off. This drug does work.

    I have been taking Rybelsus 7mg in tablet form for about 3 weeks. I am also following a health program of diet, exercise and lifestyle changes. I have put on 1kg so far!. What’s more, I now have a real aversion to food, and feel constantly nauseous as if food is sitting around my chest/throat area (I never really ate much before the tablets anyway). So all its done is taken away the pleasure of eating, made me so incredibly tired (I have sleep apnea but the tiredness has doubled) and I have little energy or motivation to do anything. I do go on the treadmill for 10 mins two times every day and the gym twice a week and make myself eat at meal times but all the pleasure has been taken out of my life. I think I would rather die before my time and actually enjoy what’s left of my life no matter how short, than continue on these tablets which are quite frankly making my life miserable.

      I am so sorry to hear that! We only work with the injectable delivery of semaglutide but I would suggest discussing a switch to tirzepatide with your prescribing doctor.

      We recommend keeping them in your carry on with an ice pack. Our patients have not experienced any issues with traveling but we do send a doctors note with them just in case!

    What compound is in your semaglutide? Is it sodium or B12?

      Our semaglutide is compounded with sodium chloride as the delivery mechanism.

    I'm trying understand why I've been on this medication for 6 months and I've lost 25 pounds. I've also gone from a 43" waist to 36". I feel great and have a lot of energy. But, I'm trying to understand why I'm losing size faster than I'm losing weight.

      Congratulations! Every body type is so different. Where we lose it from first, last and in between varies. I usually recommend that patients take their weight AND measurements. Keep up the good work!

      I am not a medical person but it sounds like you are losing fat but gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Perhaps you are training regularly? I have heard that semaglutide loses both fat and muscle, so I don’t know 🤷‍♀️

    TLDR: Semaglutide is an effective tool for weight loss, but it is important to ensure proper nutrition and protein intake to manage fatigue and potential side effects.

    Have you had patients experience pancreatitis or gallbladder issues?

    • @revee.aesthetics
      @revee.aesthetics  7 месяцев назад

      Hi! We have had one patient who had a "gallbladder attack" with right upper abdominal pain. The patient was admitted to the hospital, found to have some minor stones that many her age have but no discreet blockage. She received intravenous fluids and anti nausea medications, got better and was discharged the next morning. There was no indication of pancreatitis. This kind of thing is a known risk with any of the Glp-1 agonist medications. The number of patients who experience it is quite low but it is not zero. Thank you for your inquiry!

    Have u had clients struggle with fatigue and or mood swings? What have u suggested or tips to deal with that? What calorie intake do you advise your clients?

    • @KPatRevee
      @KPatRevee 8 месяцев назад

      Fatigue can be a potential side effect or it could be due to the decrease in calories and nutrients. I recommend checking with your prescribing doctor for their opinion in your specific treatment plan. We have had success with adding B12/lipotropic injections for some of our patients. As far as calorie intake, everyone's caloric needs vary and I would recommend working with your provider who knows your specific case to come up with the best plan!

      There have not been any studies done on the effects of this medication while pregnant so we absolutely do not prescribe this for anyone pregnant or even trying to get pregnant. When it comes to fertility, there are no proven effects at this time.
