    Now that you've made the move to the motherland, we're excitedly looking forward to discovering Ethiopia through the unique perspective of you and your lovely family. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey! Been following your journey from the early days. That house gotta be one of the rare few spacious residences in Addis with room to spare.

    Thank GOD that you have come this far.. I hope all goes well for you and the country so that many more, may find the path you have taken possible for them too. The house looks fabulous by many standards for many of us in the continent. I keep forgetting to mention that the introductory piece of music is so much comforting... My gut feeling is that you came to Africa at the right time and for a good purpose. Remember, we have the historical BRICS summit taking place from tomorrow, about ten kms from where I am. It is possible that Africa and the world might change for the better as a result of this..

      Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I’m also expecting big changes as a result of this BRICS summit. I didn’t realize it was beginning tomorrow. We shall see what comes of it. God bless you.

    75,000 ETB for a 55" TV is insane! That is like $800 using black market rate and over $1350 using the public exchange rate. You can buy that same TV for like $300 in America, possibly even less.

    Very nice, spacious home. Is there an option for the outside, front area and the back outdoor kitchen area to just have grass instead of tile? I'd like to lock the gate and just have my kids run around outside on grass.The outside view looks lovely. I love green areas with lots of trees and nature. I know there are a couple of international schools in Addis, but I'm curious about the private, local schools and how they may differ from the international ones. When your kids start school there, please share how that goes. Thanks for the tour!

    Hi Princess, I am very happy for your family to come back to Africa, where you find peace. Would you please tell us how much the total construction cost was from start to finish? You do not need to go into details; just give an estimation, including the land. I would appreciate that. I think somewhere in one of your videos, you mentioned the cost of building in Ethiopia. I don't remember which video. I was planning to buy a house in Ethiopia, but when I see the price and quality of the money you are paying, it does not meet my expectations. So I am planning to build my own house. But that also comes with too much stress since I am not living in Ethiopia. Thank you once again.

    • @princesslivingfree
      @princesslivingfree  11 месяцев назад +1

      This house is a rental for now. Once our house is finished, we can share the total cost. Just to estimate the cost, I would say 14-15 million birr or $300,000 (by the government conversion rate) for 200 sq meters of land and a G+2 house.

      @@princesslivingfree oo oke, My bad, I was thinking that this was your new home. Yes, 300k would be perfect, which is also about the same price I was thinking of. Thank you for your quick response.

      It really depends how you want to live. If you want a nice house in the capital city, your rent will be around $500-$1000 dollars per month, on average. Food is relatively cheap. If you eat mostly local produce, $250/month should be plenty.
