I really liked this issue, it was nice. And I read Son of Kal'el #9 and it was cute, it made me want to read the whole thing because of Jon, but idk. I only read Nightwing so I never read SOK before.
*Spoiler alert for Son of Kal'el #9, I guess:*
I've seen mix opinions on it, I agree with some of them saying that making Nightwing Superman's mentor was out of nowhere due to them never actully interacting before. I mean, Is true that it literally happened from one issue to another, but I actully like the Dynamic so whatever xd
Then in SOK #9 Jon admits that when he was trapped in that other world he have thought of maybe someday Nightwing would appeared and find him like he did in that cave, and some people didn't like that because they were like "why would John spect Dick to appeare instead of his own father?". And I get it, but I personally have no opinion... I don't mind it that much tbh.
