Really love how perfectly that Dragon Link game illustrated how broken this entire game is. I know nothing will probably be done about it, but 1 card combos probably shouldn’t exist as long powerful Extra Deck extenders also exist. The turns will only get longer and longer and the end boards will only get more powerful as long as cards like Halq and Linkross and even Striker Dragon exist.
Remember back when strike bounzer was such a good card it was considered a must-have in any deck that could even maybe make it. Not even mediocre anymore. I feel old.

Instead of leaving the dead Dugares on field when you summon back the Herald with it, you could contact fuse the Dugares and Herald into Elder Entity N’tss which would let you special you Dragoons for hand so that you could overlay into Dweller and detach them from Dweller to trigger Dragoon’s search, and detaching N’tss from Dweller on the opponent’s turn is disruption.

But you also have the possibility of it being another dead draw in this deck which you really do not need. Not saying it's terrible but it does come with risks.
Same thing happened to me when he was facing my, get this, synchro Gishki deck. I rarely if ever go into halq in that deck, and if I do it's to summon a tuner Synchro on the opponent's turn. And they called me a meta sheep. Lol
OK so as the guy that topped the ycs with orcust, i feel obligated to tell you that legally, you COULD go into beatrice, eff send knightmare, and have orcust combo for at least a crescendo for that 1 card left in hand :)
Another engine you could use, is Hieratic. It can do the handloop; end on at least 2 negates and is really explosive. It can open weird at times but even with the weird hands I have managed to end on 2 negates whilst stealing 2 cards. Just my 2 cents on the matter; love the deck profile!
Another degenerate advantage to playing Gishki is you innately have easy Bahamut>Toadally plays. Gishki Shadow is level 4, pitches itself to search and Normal summoning Gishki Beast gets a Gishki from grave. I remember doing that back when people were playing Tinfish to SS Bubbleman from hand.

3stackz Gishki's list is way better. It has the one card combos AND regular Gishki 2-3 card combos to handloop the opponent for days. Better follow-up interuptions too.
Seriously, this deck runs way too many Normal Summons. The Hieratic Engine is way more effective than the Deskbot Stuff. Like you can Diva a Vision and make a Hieratic Combo with Gustkraken to get 2 Level 8 Synchros out of this, if you want or go into Tzolkin. Or you could run Magellanica, the Deep Sea City with Diva and Diviner for a Prima Donna Combo, with also topdecking Moulin, which you could summon First Turn with Prince and also have a Level 8 Synchro which can’t be targeted by Monster Effects. Or Magellanica + Diviner topdecks a Lappis Dragon, which can give you a Link, Rank 5 or Synchro Level 8. Or Angraecum Umbrella, which triggers the Dragoons and can revive Herald for a Level 7 Synchro. There are so many Possibilities with this deck, but everyone decides to run the random Deskbot Engine and hopes for no Handtraps, so they can do their combo. And once a Handtrap is activated: Everyone = Suprised Pikachu Face. Also i Never understood Benten here. Yeah it searches itself for thinning out the Deck and that’s it?
Try out Megalith With the Gustrkrakens. That Version is way better as you can Play through One or two Handtraps and going Second you can just side out the gishki cards
Well, the deck I built was not nearly as good. I looped normally 2 cards, and hoped not tp get otkd. And if I happen to win a game and they go first, I replace all my Gishki stuff with Chaos Max. Nice things with impcantations...
It doesn't destroy so the opponent can use that negated body to extend into stuff to get over Bounzer, which wouldn't be a issue if you could back the dude up with something but you can't.
I really wish they erratad halqif to something more crystron.. like requiring a crystron tuner... would solve the abuse and stop cards getting banned because of it...

What's wrong with ending on Bounzer? it's a decent XYZ card.
