    Loved the part where he mentions his greatest achievement was taking care of his family.

    The measure of Cesar Romero was more his care of his family than his career which was also impressive. It seems that he was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. This selflessness and charity is rare.

    I love how he had to adapt to the industry changing on him.....from the glamor of Hollywood to hustling a TV part with so little luster.....And also his hair, he has always had a pretty receded hair line...but it has survived....never gone bald and you can tell is not a toupee.

    Amazing confirmed bachelor
    He supported his family
    No other women taking his money
    Then divorcing him!

      It has been reported that he was gay. It wouldn't have been another woman.

    What a life this man had. The " Troc " can be seen in the original 1937 A Star is Born.

    What an odd show! Black back ground with extreme closeups, and an interviewer who seemed more interested in gossip than any thing else. Still, Mr. Romero shined and was an absolute gentleman.

    • @valentinr.dominguez2892
      @valentinr.dominguez2892 6 месяцев назад

      It is not gossip if it is coming from the source. I think that was intentional so that we get to learn what was the perspective of someone that participated in Hollywood's golden age.

    Interviewer thinks people are interested in him ,he talks over Mr.Romero every time he gives trys to answer.

    Cesar was about to comment about Tyrone's marriage to Linda Crystal, but Skip kept interrupting him with other questions. I would have loved to have heard his commentary, his perspective on that relationship.

    María Mantilla, César Romero's mother, claimed to be the biological daughter of the great Cuban patriot José Martí.

      You wrote that Cesar's mother claimed to be a daughter of José Marti. Was she born out of wedlock?

    Skippy becomes a bit annoying with calling Cesar's name while asking a question all the time. However, Cesar was gracious enough to engage him in his grandiose line of silly questioning. He's constantly asking a question and cutting him off before Cesar can give the answer. This is a big interviewers mistake. Skippy's way over the top.

      He was fantastic. She was annoying as hell the way she acted like her purpose was to interrupt him as much as possible. Uggh. That got old.

    I mean this whole "interview" is a hot mess. Albeit we do get to see and hear Cesar, and thank you to the poster by the way, it was strange from the airheaded weird sensuality from the first lady in the beginning, and this ambiguous interviewer who can do nothing but get overly excited and cut off senor Romero. He is such a class act for this one. I need to do some research on this Skip.

    • @cmcb09
      @cmcb09 9 лет назад +2

      vabeachtiff Cesar Romero was a gentleman in every sense of the word, everyone adored him. Skip mentioned Anne Jeffreys the last 15 or so years of his life her husband actor Robert Sterling was stricken with a horrible case of Shingles that pretty much left him bed ridden for the rest of his years. He would escort Anne to events all the time. Just all and all a nice guy.

    Skip, appeared to still be "Star Struck" and would not let Cesar complete his sentences! Cesar, was trying to tell him that it was just a way of life and he enjoyed it tremendously! I wanted to hear him talk about Tyrone; but Skip interrupted! 🙄🎬
    Cesar, was a class act! 🏆

    • @valentinr.dominguez2892
      @valentinr.dominguez2892 6 месяцев назад

      I agree. Cesar was about to comment (not very positively it seemed) about Tyrone's relationship with Linda Crystal, but Skip kept interrupting him. I would have loved to have heard Cesar's perpective on that. It may have been intentional. Skip did have an interview with Linda Crystal during the 90's.
      Skip may have interrupted Cesar intentionally to prevent any negative commentary.
