Many thnx Stup, You are a great source of info for me and i appreciate it tremendously. I've only been in the hobby for a year n half and doing relentless research n info gathering. You make it easy to understand n thats def a bonus. Again, many thnx n keep up the good work.
What a great and informative video! I’m just starting to learn about currency & coins. I really appreciate all of your hard work in putting together such surprising and informative videos! I’m pretty certain I will never be able to do this kind of collecting, but I’m fascinated by it all! Blessings! ❤️✝️
Really like all the videos that you do. I've found some great currency over the years using your tips and advice on how to find Bank Notes. My very first note that got me into this hobby of collecting old Bank Notes was a pair of 1934-A ten dollar bills that I got from the Cash Office where I work. Now the whole front end has been checking for old Bank Notes for me at the registers. Red seal notes Silver certificates National Currency 1934 federal Reserve 100 dollar notes Have yet to find a Gold Certificate in Circulation and just recently Found a 1904 Morgan Silver Dollar in the Coin Star.
There's nothing better than finding stuff in circulation and that's an impressive list that you have! I check coin star regularly and have only scored a pair of silver dimes and a bunch of foreigns. Its a good idea to ask your bank if they have any silver dollars. Even Ikes are getting tougher to find. Thanks for watching and I'm glad to hear some of my advice has helped grow your collection. Good luck to you!
Great info Stup.My LCS doesn't deal in currency too much, which is a bummer. Maybe a few others to consider are hobby shops and flea markets.I know alot of people are using social media these days
I no longer use banks..I have been using two credit unions, and their notes are a total mess, with holes, and wrinkles. I don't know if banks will trade 100 ones for two fifties if we don't have an account there. I went to a gas station, and I got an accordion bill amongst other disasters. I do better at regular stores and asking if they can give me fifty ones for a fifty. They might toss me out if I ask for one hundred of their ones. They say casinos are great, but I hate gambling...b o r i n g! But the change machines...do they give dollars only if we choose? Thanks for the vixdeo...note...I often have to make lots of phone calls to businesses, and my sense of humor cracks people up, and they give me info, and help I never ask for, so that note you got reminded me of that. I think some of these people have to put up with total crap from people, like waiters, and waitresses. It is SO rude to hassle them,..they work too hard. Thank you for sharing your knowledge...I truly appreciate it, as I have been studying, and haven't tried to sell any finds yet...I want more experience and knowledge. By the way...there are some old bills at a local jewelry shop...maybe I will look at those!
Not yet! It seems many dealers also post on ebay. I tend to compare the actual notes rather than favoring a particular dealer. Even the guys I don't like will get my money if the price is right.
Sir can i ask you about number 8 ,100 dollar still have value this time?cause we had here in philippine,if still have value how much ?and how to seal it?
Antique stores wouldn’t even be in my top 10. They overprice everything, because they assume that because a coin is old, it is more valuable. Coin Shops #1, and Banks With Tellers #2 for me.
I hear you! This past year I've been favoring ebay because of the situation. Nothing beats going to your LCS to actually see and feel the item and to talk with the dealer about it.
@@briancambridge3040 interesting. If it’s in good shape I would think it could be $100-$300. There is no mention in my error guide but if it’s a straight butterfly, I could picture it.

I am not on Facebook either. I feel no need to put my private information, location ect out there. I have gotten several notes from other you tubers or you tube auctions
As a content creator on youTube, I am embarrassed that I omitted youTube. I've even spread my bank horde finds with you guys. I can't believe I missed such an obvious source. Excellent point and great source!!!
Great information on where to purchase. Thanks for sharing. Take care and be safe!

I agree with your suggestions. I'm always amazed when coin shops ignore currency. Imagine a baseball card shop that didn't do other sports.
You the best.good job my friend.thank.
Thank you very much!
Brother you forgot to mention your local coin show
My local coin show. Buena Park every 6 months.
I love to shop at my local Antique shop. I have gotten some great deals.
I haven't been as lucky but I see you sharing your finds so I wanted to make sure I included it.
Great video. Thank you for the information.
Glad it was helpful!

Good info stu. Estate sales/auctions are still popular online.
Absolutely! Every one of those is a new opportunity.
nice collection, most out of my league, maybe one day I'll find one, or two.? .thank you for the showing.
You would be surprised. I'm nowhere near rich. I'm an Uber driver.
Coin shows as well.
Been watching several of your videos and getting enthused about collecting currency again. I have a decent start.
That is awesome! Good luck!

A $100 note is always worth $100 and is spendable. If it is in great shape, it could go for $150-$300. Try putting it on ebay.
I go to antique malls and coin shops.
Great places to pick up stuff!
Hey … I’m in New York and I have about 40 STAR NOTES … How and where do I go to sell these ??
If they are rare, you can try eBay or Facebook. If they are common, you might not get very much over face value.
I have a lot of notes How do I sell them
eBay, coin shows, Local coin shop, Facebook, garbage sales, etc.
Interesting!
Glad you think so!
Nice top 10.
Thanks! People have also put other places in the comments.
You didn't con the con. You both got something beneficial out of the deal!
True. He made $5 and I’m up $150.
