I think YT recommended this video to all small and new channels. Just like me. Congratulations to the host of this channel. Apparently you are the best among the smallest.
I applaud you for starting on RUclips. It will not doubt inspire many, including myself. For whatever reason YT showed your channel to me as one to watch and I am glad they did.
Thank you for sharing you knowledge and perspective. I just started my channel 2 days ago and am grateful for all the creators who take the time to share with the newbies 😃
For the longest time I resisted the advice to be "organized" and "plan videos" I wanted to be spontaneous and original. However, I found that being organized and planning not only makes a better video with more value for the viewer...it makes filming and editing so much easier. I agree I do this to help people and the nice comments fuel my motivation. I also don't let the negative comments get to me. Live and let live is my generation's motto! Thanks for the insights!
Even less than 400 subs :P This was in my recommended. Feel like i've been clicking on a lot of new or low view videos lately, it's fun! Good luck out there
Yeah, and I thought about doing that, but as I said in another comment, this exact wording seems to get the algorithm's attention for some reason, so I wanted to see if it would also do that with this video.

Thank you. Very nice watch. I'm a small new channel with doubts, up and down, still looking for the form I want to give to my channel but like you said: we are so free to experiment and be whatever we like.
I believe, there is more to it than just grinding. It's like you're coquering your fate. Even if you're not popular yet, RUclips gives you the best opportunity that I've dremed of - to become an artist. To produce something that fullfills my heart. I believe, this is the most important thing about RUclips.
As someone who has 32 subscribers and a handful of videos, this was great value for me. 500 seems like a miracle! But I know it takes time, and effort, which I'm doing. Thanks again!
@@ClearDiscussion Thanks man, I look forward to seeing your progress! Great value on this video, I'm loving the process and seeing what other creators are doing.
The algorithm put you here for a reason. Keep creating, everyone! Also, for those of you who don't know, the reason your RUclips videos drop off in views is because the algorithm starts to recommend it to broader audiences. For example, when I make Hunt Showdown content, it will recommend it to an audience that primarily watches Hunt Showdown content first. Then youtube will broaden the audience and judge your video based on the click-through rate. If it's low, it stays low and your video basically "dies". The reason we're on this video right now is because we also watched other videos like this one before. But as your viewership grows, so will the recommendation rate. So don't be discouraged if a video just falls off, keep going!
Thank you for this commenting. As I said at the end of this video, weird things happen like that, being discouraged can happen easily. But, I see others can relate and understand these situations as well.
Thank ypu for this video. I am finally facing my fear and started a channel at the beginning of April. Right now its a lot like yours, about whatever topic I choose to discuss. This video was encouraging. Best of luck!
I made it my new years resolution to start RUclips. It’s got a pretty good start! I would choose this career over anything else (even though I’m in Uni). Good luck to your Channel man. Hope your get to 1k subs soon!
Thanks for sharing! I am at 200 subs now on my investing channel, and I am also grinding my way up. Most important for me is to enjoy what I make and try to learn from it mysef. Enjoy your day.
Great message. We started for fun, to spend time together and that our journey might help someone. We could care less about growing. We just subscribed and looking forward to following your journey.
I really like your perspective. It seems like you put alot of effort in. Perhaps having interesting visuals while talking, I think that would make them more interesting. I like your opinion and I think you maybe repeat your point a lot, plus examples and other things. I Think your core content has a lot of potential, but a more cut down script would help.
All good points, and thank you. I try to script a bit, but I also like to speak with what comes naturally to my mind. I think I haven't found the sweet spot for that yet though, so you are correct. Thank you for commenting!
One sad thing about my 2 yt channels i have literally lost more subs than the number of subs i have, i no longer look at numbers as i had quit yt for a month. Thanks for your advice 👍
I think I’m going to start my RUclips journey I’m just afraid with my ADHD I procrastinate way more than I want and I’m afraid to start up something that i love especially when I constantly change topics and can’t stay on task
Make your initial goals really easy to complete, that way you don't feel overwhelmed at the start. Like one video a month, and then see how that goes for you. Good luck!
Great video! good luck with your channel ❤ Love the advice. I am just starting out and almost at 100 subscribers. Good point that's 100 people interested in me 😻 Stay humble.
🙌 This video is such an inspiring journey of how even a small creator can make a meaningful impact through RUclips. The insights you shared about finding your niche, planning content, and learning from other creators are incredibly valuable. One important question I have is: What advice would you give to new creators who are struggling to grow their audience and maintain consistency in posting new content? Any tips on overcoming the challenges of unpredictable view counts and staying motivated during the ups and downs?
Good questions, for the first regarding posting consistency: I'm not super consistent with my posting, in fact it's the one thing that I wish I was significantly better about. The best advice I'd give is set up a plan that you can reach realistically. So if you think you can make a video that you're pleased with every 2 weeks, then make that your initial goal. Post a video that reaches the standards you have for yourself every two weeks, and do that for a few months to build momentum. Once you've gotten a rhythm down of that, maybe go for 1 video a week sometimes, and just continue from there. I'm not sure what the best video schedule is, and I definitely need to improve on mine as well. Regarding struggling with growth: Honestly I feel that I got lucky with a couple of my videos. I made them and posted them and, for whatever reason, they did very well. Maybe it was a mixture of the timing, the title and idea, and some luck. (Personally, I think a lot of it was luck) I've also made a few videos that were heavily influenced by videos I had watched myself. Ideas that stuck with me and are somewhat repetitive if you watch the same videos as me. If an idea sticks and, for some reason it seems to be popular right now, then I'm probably going to make a video on it. I try to give everything in my own words and not be too derivative of others. I think I do that well. Regarding unpredictable view counts: it sucks. I used to be very bothered by one video doing well and another doing poorly. For a long time, I didn't understand why this was happening. Fortunately, I feel like I slowly understood my content more and how it would do in regards to RUclips as a whole. When I post a video now, I have guessed if it will do well or not (according to my standards of what that is) successfully for the last 5-6 videos. I think time and experience plays the biggest factors into this. You figure out things about yourself and your content and you start to notice tendencies of RUclips as well. That might not be a very useful answer but it's as honest a one as I can give. Regarding staying motivated: Sometimes I'm not. I have a whole life going on besides what you see with RUclips. Some days I feel very motivated to work on videos and I feel energized by it. Some days it is work. Having a minimum floor to hit, regarding posting of videos, is important. For me, the minimum floor is a video every 2 weeks AT LEAST. My goal is to always do more, but if I'm very unmotivated, I still have to get that video up before 2 weeks time. That way, I'm making sure that I'm staying active on RUclips and focusing on growing, even if I'm not hyped that day. I hope that answered your questions, let me know if you need anything else.
I got up to 212 subs and youtube said I violated the terms of service and cut off my ability to post. Since I regained the ability to post again I had virtually no views and my community posts had nothing, when before they were getting 10-30 likes. Just nothing. Not sure what I did cuz they didn't tell me. I was just making silly memes. A bit disheartening.
CD is giving you good advice here. You can fight stuff like this. I know it can feel hopeless but when a human eventually takes notice at yt you will very likely be cleared.
Interestingly enough, I've seen a few videos like this and decided to give it a go. There seems to be almost a push for videos like this within the RUclips algorithm. That's what it looks like to me at least.
Just a few weeks later you now have 595 subs and 212 likes. ( I like numbers...thought that was cool....Okay, okay...I'll sit back down now and be quiet )
Im the 400th subscribers.. remember me when you're become famous 😊
Thank you, hopefully I will get there one day. I'll remember you.
I think YT recommended this video to all small and new channels. Just like me.

Thanks, I'm just glad it seems to be reaching a lot of people and making a little difference.
YT is a marathon. Keep up the grind!
Thank you, I've been learning that fact more and more.
I like to use the analogy of a garden. It takes a lot of work and time and patience but eventually it will pay off.
facts!
It's more like Badwater 135 than a marathon lol.
Couldn't have said it better.
Writing your thoughts and goals is a key factor to growth. Insightful video
