Dissidia 012: Duodecim - Story Mode Encounter Quotes (Part 2)

- I am compiling all of the character-specific exchanges made in the story mode. This is the second half, which features the 013 storyline. There will be spoilers, although if you've played the first game, then nothing should come as a surprise.
The exchanges are shown in chronological order according to the museum theater's timeline, NOT the order that the Destiny Odysseys are listed. That's because each one happens almost simultaneously, although they start and end at different points in the timeline. Besides, it wouldn't make sense for Sephiroth to show up as an early enemy in WoL's story when Cloud was suppose to have already defeated him at the end of his.
The last 10 encounter quotes are all from 013's Shade Impulse chapter. You can technically do these fights with anyone, but most characters will just say something generic if they're not fighting they're rival. If you pair up the hero with their respective villain, though, you will get a coherent response to the enemy's line.
Chaos is not included, because he still doesn't have a real exchange of dialogue with the hero.

I like how sometimes the heroes fight each other’s antagonists. As in hero A fights villain B while hero B fights villain A
Bartz was fighting Golbez while Cecil was fighting Ex death
Firion was fighting Jecht while Tidus fights Emperor
I love bored Kefka.
He is _far_ less annoying when he's not in the mood. It's also totally out of character for him, which is hilarious.

the voice actors did a good job there.
I keep thinking that in regular matches, there should have been a 5 - 25% chance of reusing these lines if the match up exists. Some of these lines were great.

Mostly. With Exdeath, the Emperor and Garland they all get uniques, otherwise it's between villain and hero.
Which is a shame, I can imagine so many different lines for different heroes responding to, say, Golbez' request, or tons of sport jokes with Jecht's overtime remark (Though I would leave Bartz' as "Let's make this a great match!" because that fits too well).
