I'll say this, I think, the artist is underrated, and the music doesn't seem to receive enough appreciation from the music industry as much as it should. His artistry has inspired a few artists who are in the game right now. Chris Brown is one of them. I mean, the brother didn’t want to add the song onto the list of others during the intermission for no other reason. People are always saying these artist should come back, and I do agree. The problem is in order for them to be successful in a comeback. They need the proper support of fans and more. The reason they aren’t out there mainstream anymore is because of the overall lack of support and shift in music genre and generation of listeners. If we want these 90’s artists mainstream today we gotta support that movement.
Been saying this for years… these artist have a lack of support for. The very same fans that say they want the music. This one artist, nobody ever talked about his music or wrote about him… I mentioned his music and he made money off it and that’s when his obsession began with me. He stalked me and came looking for me and wanted a baby with me and showed his mother my picture before he even saw me. His other band mates were attacking me too since they had been blackballed after the industry… he didn’t want me writing about any other male artist. It’s was the most craziest thing.

Quiet as it’s kept, Case deserves more respect as an artist than Def Jam & the industry gave him. Damn near every release was a hit & yet you rarely see him present or acknowledged on award shows.
He seems like a solid, straightforward brotha & even a capella he can blow. BET, TV One should include him more & honor his contribution to music. With & without industry support, he has not ceased to follow his own compass, nor has he waited for a label to back him; to realize his musical goals. You have to respect that type of maverick approach to life & to your career; that with or without accolades; you continue to do exactly what you are called & have purposed yourself to do.

I met Case and his manager backstage about 10 years ago when they came to Toronto for a concert with New Edition (New Edition never showed due to the snow storm). They took me and my sister out for dinner and they were the sweetest guys. Then 2 groupies came out of nowhere and wanted to follow them to their hotel. My sister and I decided to go on our merry way. But I just wanted to say Case was awesome performance wise and as a person.

His song “Missing You” I dedicated to my first boyfriend at 12 years old when he moved. Now I dedicated this song to my now deceased father whom passed in 2017 🌹. I grew up on Case music and was born in 1991. Early 90’s was still a generation that understood and grew in our own decade. I remember so much . I had an employee at my job who was born in 95 and asked me if I knew about these artists they have out now such as Cardi B , Tyler the creator and Mac Miller. Hell naw... Case and the rest of these artists from the 90’s - early 00’s was all me. The only person I listen to now is Ari Lennox. Everyday I reminisce on how I grew up on love music and how people was full of so much love and genuinely cared. Now it bothers me how people are so full of hate now every where you turn. Everyone has babies at young ages now. Everyone is so envious of the next it’s ridiculous.
