Interesting... Case Woodard. I'm a fan from afar. I have strong attachments to certain records, but I was never fully invested in the man behind the music. He didn't do anything wrong. Some artists are good for a few records and some artists I'll go the extra mile for. Anyway, _Touch Me, Tease Me_ feat. Foxy Brown & Mary J. Blige defined my life in the 6th grade. I have really sunny memories behind that record. Whenever I hear it, I think of Stonestown Galleria and my lil' DKNY shades. After that, I love _Happily Ever After._ That one reminds me of a sweet lil' love note that was left in my locker and "a special someone" requesting it for me on the radio. After that, I love the record he did w/ R.L. and them and finally, 2008's _Lovely._ I love the _Lovely_ record because it reminds me so much of my uncle, Mr. Charlie Wilson. His voice on that record has always been clear in my mind's eye. Nah, vocally...well... Case wasn't my favorite singer. He's inoffensive on record, but live...WHEW! He's typically winded due to bad breath control and he ends up hitting a lot of flat notes.
As beautiful as the song was, I always thought Happily Ever After's video was creepy, given Beyonce's age at the time.
