- Metal detecting on the beach with the new XP Deus II metal detector. I show each target that I dig, what it sounded like and call out the conductivity number of the target.

Yeah I heard about it. He no longer takes comments. To me... that's like dishing it out...but not being able to take it. LOL. I have a lot of Deus questions... but since he has no comments... I can't ask any. Which is ok is guess, it is what it is. Deus 2 is confusing to me with all the navigation required. I have both machines... nox800 and now the deus2. Too bad the Deus2 doesn't use the high freq. coils like the ORX uses. Anyways.. I guess we all have a lot to learn. Good Video. Good Hunting !
I am 76 yo, and always struggle with a new detector. I've been out once with my new Deus II, and struggled. I can't believe there is not a depth gauge. I like to know how deep my target is so I know how deep to make the plug? No depth gauge makes me wish I had not purchased the Deus II.

Glad to see that you kind of made up with Calabash on that and congrats on the three rings but time will tell on this machine and that is a fact don't think XP would go and put their neck out on the line on any product they produce I think a lot of people forget to The Nox also had updates on their machine just like the Deus 1
I enjoy watching your straight up channel and seeing your finds. We live up in Florence SC. And hunt the beaches here whenever we can!! And BTW on channels that have comments turned off, I don’t watch very much…🤣

Good to see some honest results and reviews on this machine. I'm on the fence with this automatic frequency shifting thing. Just don't see it as a big deal.

Just for viewer's sake you should make a target bed on the beach and do a challenge between the Nox 800 and the D2

You need to do your own comparison between the nox and d2 at your beach, I would really like to see those results. A little wispy noise without numbers is all im seeing the d2 do on deep targets. That's not enough to make it get your attention and dig, sounds more like a ghost tone. Best of luck with your new machine.
Video is already being edited. It’s one thing to be able to hear a deep target if you are inching your way down the beach, it’s another thing to hear a deep target walking at a normal pace with a detector and hearing something that makes you stop and dig. Especially at the low tide line.
Maybe you could try duplicating Gigs result on an episode. If this is a request line lol. Btw love the way you’re editing the hunt videos.
Good video. One question? On my beaches I rarely get any coins in the wet sand. They stay in the top wedge of the beach. So how are those coins getting there is what intrigues me. People rarely lose coins on wet sand because they do not sit on it and dropped coins would be visible perhaps. When people go swimming they don’t usually have a pocket full of coins either. I would love to hear the reason for that one. 👍
Most of the targets on the beach right now have migrated from the dry sand. We had a few big storms this fall and some favorable sand movement. The ocean dumps similarly weighted things near each other in general.
@@SavannahHarps Thanks, Yes I have found 20 real silver coins in one spot in the past. We called it a glory hole. I think because our beaches are now divided by rock groynes, these days the coins are trapped in the top wedge.
Turn your audio response to 6 or 7. I had to and the audio difference is a lot better. Regular headphones would be better or earbuds. Bone conduction headphones would probably be the best option.
Make sure to check that small heavy piece of metal that might be dental gold.
I will come back to this comment in the future, I have an upcoming video showing my new program that sounds right and good on those test targets at the beach. 😉

I’m telling you man, Gigmaster got those crazy deep air tests with the Deus 2 and I can’t duplicate them. Watch that episode on his channel and I bet you can’t either because I’m watching your machine have identical performance as mine. Definitely not saying Gig is faking a thing but there have to be better or worse machines. I mean it’s complicated thing that’s made by humans.
I know that you have to be wondering how much stuff that you have missed with that machine cause of the video you put out with the gold toe ring and ear ring,you know that the NOX 800 would've picked them up
I always struggle when I get a new machine. One thing, my Deus II, it does not tell you how deep the target is. How do you get around that?
It tough to see on the Deus II, but the horseshoe shows the depth. You can barely see it on the screen. Otherwise you have to use the sound for depth.

Only thing I could follow that with is that they’d have to have made the same mistake more than once.
Congrats on the big gold. With the deus you won’t be bothered with the little gold as it seems to be notched out lol
