This was really good teaching and philosophy but most of all the narrator’s voice , punctuation and expressiveness , was outstanding! Made all the difference Well done sir!
I tried very hard to read Kierkegaard in the past, but he's beyond my scope of understanding to what he wrote. His writings are totally from another dimension.
@@lizziebkennedy7505 You're right, translation is very important in a book. I've read books translated so bad that they should be pulled from the shelves. I was living in Italy when I read Kierkegaard writings translated to Italian, may be I should try an English version, it might make more sense to me.
Induce epistemic angst and then read kierkegaard to 'understand' however I advice against radical skepticism, you'll be running from epistemic angst until death, in some situations it's best to not understand Kierkegaard at all
I love how Kierkegaard reframes anxiety as an opportunity for personal growth. Pursuing my passion has definitely helped me cope with the uncertainty of life 🙏
This guy hasn’t read Kierkegaard at all, he just looked up some quotes and made a video. Kierkegaard literally says anxiety is sin just as the Bible views it that way. Worry means you are caring too much about worldly things or not trusting God enough. Read His book “Christian Discourses.” Super underrated. In fact, I have found that Kierkegaard’s most famous books are actually his worst. People only say they are good cuz it sounds cool to like the books that are the most complex. If you are new to Kierkegaard I would start with: “Self-Examination, Without Authority (Lily and the Bird), and Christian Discourses.
I really like tips for manage anxiety .. But I even heard have been more anxiety can being schizophrenia dependent those things level syndrome .. By the .way thanks for vid presentation ..
Now we're talking ... getting closer to the truth. Bravo! (Mix in a little Freud, sprinkle some Camus, add a bit of Heidegger--and you have your cake, which you can eventually enjoy with your hemlock.)
So glad I found your channel. Having all these ways of looking at life all in one place is a great thing . Thank you having the vision and taking the time to enrich us all.
I don't have much existential anxiety no more really and it is because of Psychedelic therapy where i actually experiences what is beyond our "Super filtered" reality in 3:d that our brain forces us to experience/believe. Always the same experience i had in a way, and when you somewhat "dissolves the EGO itself" you merge with ALL of Consciousness just as some kind of primordial state of being but that consciousness is never ending but rather just the vessel(body), and this goes on forever and have always done in a way i think. What was before "The big bang"?, Consciousness was before and then the Universe were created Of and BY it, then later life was created in order to experience consciousness in order for it to experience itself from different perspectives. Just like we humans experience consciousness in a special subjective experience in 3:d(for some reason i don't know). And i believe that this goes for ALL life, because the more diversity of life the more "feedback" goes back to Consciousness itself. Something like that is what i believe. Cheers from Sweden 🙂😗😗🤫
4 Ways to triumph over your anxiety: alcohol, benzos, exercise and opiates. This videos nonsense was written by someone thats never experienced true anxiety, hell I wonder if Soren ever did. Maybe modern anxiety was different then.
This video came into my life at the perfect time. I was feeling lost and discouraged, but watching this reminded me of my own strength and potential. Thank you for reminding me that I have the power to turn my dreams into reality. I'm ready to conquer my fears and chase my goals with unwavering determination!
I'd like to take a moment to say that watching a sitcom has somehow led me to watching videos like this. "The good place" talks about these guys a lot. And as of now I'm just understanding the irony of one of the characters existential pit of dread while he also taught about this same exact stuff.
Thank you so much for this inspiring video- i just loved listening to your explanation. I am doing my philosophy and you are better than my teachers, so clear, and easy to understand kierkegaard. May God bless you, looking forward for more videos.
I love his views on anxiety. Puts a positive spin. And it's very true. Change can be good, it requires courage and strength, especially if you have higher anxiety/anxiety disorder and still manage to make those positive changes !

He’s not dissimilar to many philosophers although the translation you choose is important.

Johannes, Climacus, Constantin Constantius, his pseudonyms remind me of a very great friend from Rome, called Biggus ... Dickus
Oh, don't tell me you're one of those Judan People's Frontists are you?!
Great content 👍👍
Great video!

Great channel. Keep it up
Your pronunciation of kirkegård is perfect, well done
You have no idea how many times I had to listen to it and repeat it back over and over to get it to stick 😂 So thanks, it's really appreciated! ❤

I think it teaches you that greatness is like the way to be best you can be.🤔
Mortality, not morality
