Also to be fair, the Kyrios was meant to be an air type mobile suit, not a ground type, which is reasonable for it's feet only capable of moving forward and back
Came for a gunpla review, was not expecting a mini review of the series too, but I certainly liked it. Maybe I'm missing something, but is the track you're using for your "credits" at the end not among the links you've listed? Was spotchecking the tracks and can't seem to find it.
Louise finally getting her revenge and watching her taste of victory turn to ash in her mouth was a real gut kick. Didn't expect such an annoying season 1 character to get such a good arc. Do the LEDs pulse like they do in the video, or is that just camera frames per second vs the LED's?
I really enjoyed 00 but I genuinely think IBO is better. However to be fair IBO was my first, and I generally prefer physical weapons over energy/beam ones
in australia the led one is $500 and the cheaper one is $250, i dont like cheaping out on proper kits, but there is nothing that justifies a $250 increase just for a little bit of lighting, i will probably buy the cheaper one and just do the lighting myself which should be under $20 aud
Bad Gunpla This sounds like a beginner question but I've only watched the original Gundam build Fighters and I got this one because it looked really cool so how do I know which one is season 1 or season 2? Thank you for this bit of knowledge so I know a bit more for the future now.
If I am right the 5 gn drives are to the gundam exia, dynames, virtue, kyrios and the final one is to the O gundam which was piloted by ribbons almark and in the 2nd season, they attatched it to the 00 gundam with the exiagn drive Just so people do not get confused
I still miss the old mechanical details of the mk II PG, the latest PG only concentrate on the looks and light gimmick not so much on the inner frame and mechanical details!!!!
Just buy the none LED version. And get the MJH LED unit from places like AliExpress or Ebay for $30~$40. They are brighter and even come with an micro USB port so you can have it on ALL THE TIME!
Slight caution: the GN drive unit on mine broke while I was assembling the kit's drive around it, so I had to talk to the seller about a replacement. The best they could do was a discount for the whole LED set. Others have also noted some difficulties, so certainly handle with care. Still worth the savings to get the Normal Version and the MJH LED unit instead of the Lighting Version.
Also I’ve got a clear 0 Gundam and Exia repair and I quite like them and I’ve the hg 00 and I think it is amazing for being 10 years old witch I still can’t get my head around lol
i got the lighting version but it was so expensive i ended up using money from an insurance settlement to get it. seriously love the kit but this guy is right it's overpriced.
I was gonna buy the non led version but instead of 100 ebay and Amazon are selling it for 200 and above same for the Mega size unicorn...... (Note: i mention those two cuz their the only two places I know that will ship to my country)
@Bad Gunpla Great job. I enjoyed your very deep thoughts on this PG. I suspect we will be seeing a P-Bandai release of PG GN-001REII Gundam Exia Repair II and PG GN-001 Gundam Exia (Trans Am) sooner or later.
@@msn-04sazabi5 I challenge you _not_ to reply to nike about how they haven't built in some time. I'm sure they are aware of their own backlog. Mind, they don't seem to pay attention to your comments anyway. At least this comment does not contain the hatred that your others seem to.
screw it, i just get the real grade, i'm broke. also if you want to light it permanently, just solder in a cable in the battery box, my dad did such things before my time all the time.
“Just solder in a cable” This sounds far easier than it actually is. I mean, god forbid there be a USB port or AC adapter on the led unit of a $300 model kit, lets solder a AC connection to the controller. For the record, I’m not knocking your suggestion, it’s just absurd that that is something you have to consider for a $300 model kit to get continuous LEDs. Also for the record, the MJH 3rd party LED unit has USB power for $30-$40.
that is true, for that price i would at least expect a rechargable battery, a recharging cable and out of pure randomnes a soundtrack cd, on the other hand, if you know what you are doing a cheap soldering iron, some wires and colour fitting led's should be about 25 to 28 € acounting 20 € for the soldering iron. And depending on what you have lying around you can power it with whatever you want. And i actualy have to take that whole "solder a cable in" thing back, you just need a plastic cylinder about the size of fittind batterys to put in the battery slot and then you can jam the cable contacts to the battery pack's contacts.
As someone that's worked on this kit before, I do NOT recommend getting it at the $300 price tag...yes, the lighting effects look nice and all, but it's just waaaay too much. S1 of 00 was fine, S2 was...odd, it had some good points sure but others that made me block it out of my mind. Like a certain character or two from Char's Counterattack...and the movie, well, it was flashy. Considering Gundam nowadays since the 00s has felt more and more like a Super Robo rather than Real Robo, it's only natural...Getter Robo was about fighting dinosaur people living in the center or the Earth, Mazinger Z has an ancient race or machines controlled by an old man's staff, also UFO Grendizer is from the (original TV) Mazinger timeline which is about alien stuff. I feel build up and returning to form in Age did things well in THAT reveal, but that's really it. Please don't watch Age past S2 if you HAVE to watch it.
Nah, I enjoyed it. It did go off the rails when it switched to focusing on Sara rather than on the MMO twist on the gunpla fighters we'd seen before, though.
The audio sounds off at times. If you compared it to the last gundam for the impatient video. It seems to have taken a hit in area's. You need to look at your audio settings.Maybe you need a pop filter, Maybe its for a new mic. It also sounds off from the streams you do so i am wondering if you used other settings for it. Also If it helps there are a few times you can hear breathing between takes which you might want to cut out in the future. Other then that i kind of liked this video. It was not the 30 minute behemoth of a video but its still meaty.
Big part of that is the size of the space I'm in now. The house is much larger than the little apartment I was recording in before, and I haven't figured out all the acoustics yet. I built a echo dampening board for behind the mic for this but it didn't work as well as I'd hoped. I'm gonna keep working on it though.
...nobody tell BadGunpla that the Kyrios' feet has really good ball jointed side-to-side tilting motion, OK?
Also to be fair, the Kyrios was meant to be an air type mobile suit, not a ground type, which is reasonable for it's feet only capable of moving forward and back
"the correct experience" calm down, we don't all love blinking lights in our plastic robots.
the 5th one is actually first used for the 0 Gundam, before being taken to use on the 00 Gundam
Finally someone who also hates the tiny feet

That’s the frame rate that’s causing the flicker yeah
you caught me with your taste in music, kept me with your great video
Don't forget that there's the P-Bandai parts set to turn it into the Repair 1 version.
I really enjoyed 00 but I genuinely think IBO is better. However to be fair IBO was my first, and I generally prefer physical weapons over energy/beam ones
Same
Exia literally has a giant physical sword on its right arm tho
OH SHIT HE BURNED BUILD DIVERS YO
Great video. Entertaining as always.
Hot take amirite

The lighting weaves through the armor with ribbon-style wires, and some of those connections are TIGHT, so be careful if you’re going the DIY route.
but the pg strike had a armor gimic? and the one on the exia *in my own personal opinion* could have definitely benefited without
So where can one get the separate lighting kit?
I’ve bought from these guys before: www.gundammodelcenter.com/pg-exia-led-unit-mjh-dragon-momoko
Just in time, good to hear while I start on my hg Cherudim.
S2 hgs tend to be better than the s1 ones

Just when I'm was going to sleep

Yep. That’s what I recommended in the video
Slight caution: the GN drive unit on mine broke while I was assembling the kit's drive around it, so I had to talk to the seller about a replacement. The best they could do was a discount for the whole LED set. Others have also noted some difficulties, so certainly handle with care.

I think the LEDs and hatch gimmick was to 1up the PG unicorn Gundam
Also I’ve got a clear 0 Gundam and Exia repair and I quite like them and I’ve the hg 00 and I think it is amazing for being 10 years old witch I still can’t get my head around lol
is it just me or the ribbons (GN power lines) on the shoulders look too thin?
It’s not just you. I lost the ones in the box very early on, so I made my own
Isn't the model number for Kyrios: GN-003 Gundam Kyrios???
It is, 002 is dynamese
I'm building mine now. Something to note is that in the legs there's a part where the wire can get caught and I can't really describe the part
Also I agree build divers sucks
I kinda agree. This isn't the best pg ever. There's a lot of better perfect grades than this one and I thought that the second I started building it.
dude, are the wires durable, im really worried if i actually do break the wires. (sorry for the sudden reply.)
I made my own led system for this kit and it worked well enough
How did you do it? Mine may be damaged so I need some help
i got the lighting version but it was so expensive i ended up using money from an insurance settlement to get it. seriously love the kit but this guy is right it's overpriced.
always been more of a fan of the 90's designs than the mid 2000's designs
I like both for what they are but some of those 90s designs REALLY haven’t aged well
I was gonna buy the non led version but instead of 100 ebay and Amazon are selling it for 200 and above same for the Mega size unicorn......
(Note: i mention those two cuz their the only two places I know that will ship to my country)
Next time, why don't you actually mention spoilers? It would be appreciated.
Ive watched 4 of you're episodes.... you're very antagonistic when you dont like something.
@Bad Gunpla
Great job. I enjoyed your very deep thoughts on this PG.

@xxnike629xx I suspect your kits are still inside your box fortress.

IT IS HERE
We need that v2 video.

Yeah, but I bought a 60$ LED MG Exia that has half of it's parts missing. So haaaaaah.
A... franxx... model...? Its... its... Beautiful!!!!
Pour Kay no loss dose?
Will your lips taste the kiss of death?
Cant seem to like it because of the design but because Im curious to see how it would be built lol
Where’s the gt unicorn?
Yung Marsupial pg unicorn. It's the perfect grade unicorn, and a separate led is sold and the wiring is very very very stressful to install
Next
They’re actually referring to one of my other ongoing projects, the Unicorn GT40
Bad Gunpla oh
Iam i the only one who liked build divers, man i feel alone here :(
Loved the the video though. keep up the good work man.
It is entirely possible that I’m an old man that doesn’t like fun
Nah, I enjoyed it. It did go off the rails when it switched to focusing on Sara rather than on the MMO twist on the gunpla fighters we'd seen before, though.
Great vid man glad to see you really like 00 also this was a really great vid. Also could you do a similar video on IBO
The Cheapgunpla Barbatos series gets into IBO pretty well. If they ever to a PG Barbatos (they won’t) then I’ll expand on it more.
Bad Gunpla ok thanks
I still get goosebumps 3:20
Lobster not L. O. Booster
It's finally time
It’s 10:22
Only if I can afford one 😂
Luckily I bought the non lighting

Bad Gunpla I would recommend a closet
While this would work, I don’t think it’d go well with my setup, since I don’t have a laptop.
I knew Jason couldn't resist them FranXX mecha musume :D
I'VE BEEN WAITING
i'm 12 and what is this
are u being serious
Yeah me too
StroudDavion Jesus Christ guys, this ain’t the channel you should be watching. Go over to zakuaurelius.
Gundam.... Exit?
That build divers diss! Someone had to say it
I’ll be here serving only the hottest of takes.
We need a PG GM
I’d like them to make a RX-78 2.0 first, the original is kinda crap now. :/
even the little feet!
I respectfully completely disagree. I think that a great balance has been achieved with many of the gimmicks in this kit.
Quick someone buy one and mail it to me.
Do more reviews u might get more subs fr
Still prefer OO than Exia lmao

Yeet
Nah the most annoying character in all of gundam would forever be flay 😂😂😂
