Changing Careers is a scary gig at any age. Watch my video and learn the questions you need to reflect on to ensure a successful midlife career pivot. It's never to late to chase your dreams. It's never too late to achieve happiness.
After 30 years, I left my job ( not a career) but my job because of the increasing violence and disrespect towards me. The pandemic helped me make that choice with the required vaccine being pushed on me. I have a new job, and I am happy. Not as much money, but I have respect. Sometimes, one must move and not ponder so much... It's like icecream. One waits too long, it will melt.
I've been at my job for so long that I'm in my comfort zone and am afraid to leave, but I'm tired of just being here and having no room to grow. I love the people, but I get tired of the same routine.
i need to do something more with my talents, make more money…I have many talents, experience in probably too many areas..i am 42, have been a chef, done construction, a farmer, and now i am the home moving industry…i feel excited to learn something more and give more of myself and also to earn more money
I enjoy so many things. I currently work with animals, vet tech for over 25 years. I love animals but I am so physically and emotionally exhausted. I want to leave the vet field but don't know where to go or what direction to go. The things that I enjoy are tarot, astrology, empathy, animals, making soaps. I have tried a few things but don't see any $$ coming in. Money is important to me also because of high rent and bills to pay, not to mention taking care of mom, she helps me financially and I help my sister.
I’m 27 years of age female , bread winner but drained and came to realize this is not what I want to do for the rest of my life . I wish to use my qualification to branch into something else like tech . I’m a teacher 🧑🏫 by profession and been teaching for three years .
After nearly 20yrs of working in the field i am comfortable with, i wish to make a career change due to disrespect, toxic head, no growth and lack of motivation. But i am super scared as i am not sure if my career change will worsen my situation or will be the best decision made.
I was super exicted to quit my 26 years I.T career. Same company (different roles) from when I left school to 42 years old. I wanted to leave that job and join the police force. Wife didn't like that idea and money crap (would mean a 60% paycut). But its not about the money (for me). I felt selfish so didnt quite and prentending I love my job to satify family and money. 😂
I want a career change but I failed math 3 times so I stopped at 2017 I have over 80/100 credits I want Web or something that will make me $80 thousand a year at least but with no math I sick of call centers going from job to job
I am 33 year old and have have 7 yrs experience , I am at most stable job but salary is not enough what should I do,,,,I wish to change to change but I afraid to do so

I just go with the flow, trends and jobs don't last forever they changes constantly so far throughout my career

I want to make more financial gain
I totally get that; especially now. Financial gain is a great motivator for a career change.
I am tired of the banking industry and I want to move to more technical field
Nice. When you say technical field, what area are you specifically hoping to transition to?
I can help you with information.
@@ronbacchus4913 I want to move to data analyst profession

May I ask how can primary school substitute teacher make a career change at midlife crisis please?
That's a GREAT question. What career change do you aspire to?
@@ronbacchus4913 I asl have not idea, which working fields are more stable please?
too old to do a new course too risky to start from the bottom ... hmm no options
IMO FK, there are always options and paths forward. May I ask, how strongly do you want change for yourself?
