Flagrant fouls should be accompted by fines. If additional fouls are commented by the same players, then suspensions should occur. They need to this addressed before someone gets hurt. Her teammates should show up and make it clear that this is not ok.

Flagrant 1 and Flagrant 2 fouls have definitions in the rules. Issuing a Flagrant for not allowing a shooter a safe space to land is also defined in the rules. In some of the definitions, the word “intentional” is not part of the definition. Other words included in the definition of Flagrant 1 or 2 are “unnecessary” and “excessive”. It is surprising to me the number of so called experts that do not know these rules. You can look them up.

Cheaters hate being called out! They know it's wrong!
Flagrant fouls should be accompted by fines. If additional fouls are commented by the same players, then suspensions should occur. They need to this addressed before someone gets hurt. Her teammates should show up and make it clear that this is not ok.

Why wasn't it a flagrant 2? which would have resulted in her ejection from the game. It's in the rules, and we want to know the rules are not enforced. What does it take to get suspended?

I mean, how is it acceptable for the #1 pick in ANY sport, to be targeted physically regardless of gender, race, etc. I thought this was a sports competition, not a brawl.
After all this it is on the league. Pathetic. Some people need to get fired or something. I’m done with the WNBA until they either get some rule changes in or start enforcing the rules. No excuses.
Flagrant 1 and Flagrant 2 fouls have definitions in the rules. Issuing a Flagrant for not allowing a shooter a safe space to land is also defined in the rules. In some of the definitions, the word “intentional” is not part of the definition. Other words included in the definition of Flagrant 1 or 2 are “unnecessary” and “excessive”. It is surprising to me the number of so called experts that do not know these rules. You can look them up.
Penalties for flagrant files need to be more punitive eg. Bugger fines and suspensions... that's what will discourage the thuggery.

These cheap shots by this Chicago team is unacceptable. Let them miss a couple of games “and get fined”, along with the coaches. Then it will stop.

Maybe I'm simple minded but it seems to me that the way to show a rookie why you are on top would be by outplaying them. If you have to resort to flagrant fouls and assault, and you still lose to her, you're showing the world that she is that much better than you.
