Did she get paid for her consults , because she clearly didn’t want the hospital calling the hotline to report suspected abuse , she wanted to personally be called. The question is why ? How many children did she recommend to the family court Judge that parents loose their parental rights and the children be placed in foster care or adopted out ? Something is not right about her involvement. She had a God complex , ignored 5 physicians that had treated Maya , even admitting she knew more than they did , because she didn’t agree with what she thought . Also how is she allowed to walk around with a patients medical records ? Medical records are to be in a safe place and not removed from hospital premises or printed from personal computers, or shared . She is clearly violating HIPAA regulations. She also texted about Maya ‘s medical records on her personal cell phone , which is against HIPAA rules. She needs criminal charges locked up in prison for her crimes she committed against Maya and her family .

If that’s the standard and system in assessing child abuse in the state of Florida, you have a serious problem.
And yes, she in fact is a prosecutor not an investigator. The judge takes her reports which bear an incredible amount of weight as investigative, yet she’s acting as a prosecutor, I mean, how does that even work? Following a prescribed treatment by licensed MD is not MBP.
Assessment of a patient for anything involves evaluating data that rules in AND rules out a diagnosis. For her to say she only needed to document what supported her theory and disregard anything that ruled it out seems like poor practice and biased to me.

When your gathering facts and info to help you make a decision whether a allegation is true or false. You document everything as you go. Then make your decision based on all the facts. But when your motive is to reach a certain conclusion from the start. You only gather info that supports your desired outcome and ignore the rest. She knowingly and intentionally made false claims against that mother.

Okay if you're doing a medical evaluation of a child for the court then why is it one-sided? Are you not supposed to say look this is what I found here are these doctors that say that the child does have it and this is how they were treated this is why the doctor at Johns Hopkins was suspicious and this is what I observed of the child and her interactions with her mother and so there you go this is the synopsis of the case. Not here let me only give you the information that proves the mom is abusing the child and make the mom have to defend herself against DCF like no Sally. You have to be fair and impartial in your investigation just like a cop can't come in there and be like oh you said it was a suicide so it must be a suicide even though the person's been stabbed 20 times or I don't believe this guy he's not crying over his dead wife so he did it so I'm going to go right down that rabbit hole and only look for things that reinforce your belief. A bunch of bullshit

you are not to assume anything....if you suspect child abuse you are to report it. However, there is supposed to be a competent investigation to analyze the facts and then a Professional in the field of Child Abuse is supposed to make a determination. Just as many kids and families are harmed by this than are helped. Many abused kids are ignored and its never dealt with at all.

One of the first things you learn about the scientific method in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, is to not skew, or fudge data in your favor. This is what we call confirmation bias. A good practitioner of sound science reports all well-collected data, and STILL reports when certain data is thought to be unreliable (you record it and explain why you think so, regardless of personal agenda, because it matters). It is not her job to make someone or anyone guilty of child abuse, it is to report findings in relation to a POTENTIAL child abuse case. Withholding information this important and deciding that you are the arbiter of truth is totally criminal and should certainly be punished in court.
